If you are considering booking a room block here, YOU WILL REGRET IT. I booked my wedding room block here with the sales manager, 9 months prior to my wedding. Both the sales manager and myself signed the contract and everything was set. My wedding was 2 months away and I reached out to the sales manager multiple times with no response. It turns out she was no longer working there. No one reached out or informed me. After multiple calls and emails, I got in contact with the new sales manager, Tim. I informed him I was going to need to add more rooms to my room block. The contract stated that if I booked a certain amount of rooms, my room would be comped the night of my wedding. I ended up bringing in double the amount of rooms that was on the contract. I also booked a meeting room for the morning of my wedding so I could get ready with my bridesmaids. The meeting room was trashed from a party the night before and not set up. My family and bridesmaids were helping the housekeeper clean the room when we arrived that morning. I reached out to Tim the Monday after our wedding and told him about the meeting room disaster and he told me he would speak to his General Manager. I never heard from him after he said he would speak with the GM. I reached out again, and he told me his GM was not there and he would get back to me. I had to reach out again because there was radio silence from Tim AND I was charged for the night of my wedding. Finally he told me he would be refunding me. I have been emailing him for almost 8 weeks now and he has given me one excuse after another for why I have not been refunded. I was overcharged per the signed contract. No one seems to care. I worked at a hotel for 9 years and I have never seen a guest be strung along for this long, especially after having such a terrible experience. At this point, I just want the money back that they overcharged me. I have never left a review in my life but this is some of the most outrageous service I have ever received. Do yourself a favor and stay...

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was a highly disappointing experience from start to finish. The rooms were incredibly smelly, with carpets that reeked of mustiness and dampness. It was almost unbearable to stay in the room for more than a few minutes at a time. The bed sheets were unclean and had stains all over them.
Adding to the discomfort, the air conditioning unit was filthy and covered in dust, making the air quality inside the room even worse. I couldn't help but feel that the management does not prioritize cleanliness or maintenance.
To top it all off, the doors were extremely loud and squeaky, which made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. Every time someone walked down the hallway or opened a door, it felt like it echoed through the entire floor.
The final straw was the morning breakfast. When I went to eat the scrambled eggs, I found a piece of steel wool in them. This was not only disgusting but also dangerous. It clearly shows a lack of care and proper food safety protocols. After this I didn’t have breakfast from the hotel and had to walk to the nearest iHop to get breakfast as I was genuinely worried about the cleanliness of this hotel. (Photos attached)
Overall, this hotel was a major letdown, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Save your money and find a place that cares about its guests' comfort, cleanliness, and safety. Be aware: don’t be fooled by all the five star reviews, this hotel uses some kind of a bot to fake reviews or pays people to give fake five star reviews. Please don’t fall for that, I really wish I had read the reviews carefully before choosing to book my...
Read moreI had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Place Chicago/Hoffman Estates! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Vonetta at the front desk was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating—when I asked for an extra blanket, she had it right away. Michelle, the general manager, was fantastic. She kindly and professionally arranged special accommodations for our large group, was super quick on responses, addressing all of my concerns and ensuring we could stay together comfortably.
The pool was a hit, especially with our group of teenagers—the 6 ft deep end made it extra fun. Plenty of clean towels were available, and the pool hours were reasonable. The fitness room was also clean and had everything we needed.
Rooms at the hotel are very spacious, clean, and comfortable. I got some great sleep during my stay. While one of the rooms near the elevator had some noise issues due to its location, the hotel was sold out, and the staff did all they could under the circumstances.
Breakfast was another highlight! The hot buffet included waffles, oatmeal, cereals, fresh fruits, and a wide variety of juices. The breakfast area was kept clean and constantly refreshed. Though I didn’t catch the names of the housekeeping and other staff, everyone we interacted with was kind and professional.
This will definitely be my first choice for future visits to the area....
