Mattress Firm Harrisonburg — Hotel in Harrisonburg

I went to mattress firm to purchase purple sheets. I asked for queen sheets. I was informed that they are special ordered and they don’t carry them in stock. Jeffrey was kind enough to tell me a lady had just brought back a set of tencel sheets she had purchased thinking they we’re king. Jeffrey had mentioned the sheets say king on it and the sticker on the back says queen(as shown in the pictures). I asked if I could take them with me so my lady can compare sheets with what else I had bought. He said that’s fine and I could bring them back but if I take them out, he would be able to tell that they were removed which would void the return. I purchased them. I took them home and she was not happy with the price of these I paid for since she technically wanted purple sheets. I never opened them. I tried bringing them back and he said he’s sorry he can’t take them due to the cdc and safety concerns that once they leave the door they are non returnable. I will keep the sheets but I don’t think it’s very professional to resell sheets that were returned by someone else, tell me it’s possible to return them and then tell me otherwise. Don’t be...

This was the second time we purchased a mattress at Mattress firm. We came back because the experience was great the first time. They are knowledgeable about their mattresses, which are high-quality. They answered all of my questions and were sensitive to our needs and time constraints. Quick turnaround on delivery and removal of old mattress. Delivery team courteous and skilled.

The first time, they were able to get us exactly what we wanted (Stearns and Foster queen) at a discounted price. The second time, they had two king mattresses that fit what we were looking for. I appreciated that they also showed us a highly discounted version (an unused return) that was almost exactly like the Stearns and Foster model that we ended up choosing.

We stayed with the name brand because we were so pleased with the one that we had purchased previously. The second option would've also been an excellent choice. In addition, they gave us the sale price in advance (the sale was beginning that weekend). A highly satisfying...

My husband and I drove 45 minutes to Harrisonburg to visit Mattress Firm, after previously visiting several mattress stores beforehand local to us. We were instantly greeted by Austin, and the entire experience was phenomenal. He was attentive and listened to our needs, and he never once tried to push or upsell. (HUGE positive in our book.) But the really amazing part (aside from the exceptional customer service from him and him staying past closing with a smile on his face to help us) was when he asked our 4 year old her name and often addressed her directly by name (asking if she wanted water, asking her age, asking if she wanted to play with something). It truly was a wonderful experience, so if you visit - be sure to ask for Austin!

Also wanted to add that I have personally been in a sales job. I know what it entails, I know what the stakes are, and he delivered superb service without making us feeling like another sale.
