Absolutely disgusting.
Worst mexican restaurant.
I went into a mexican restaurant excited for some fajitas, and I got unseasoned dry meat. It was horrible, I had to salt my dish 2-3 times and it still tasted bland. The side toppings they give with the fajitas were terrible, the only thing good on that plate was the lettuce, the guacamole was brownish, the refried beans lacked seasoning, and the spanish rice tasted like white rice. No seasoning.
My girlfriend got the enchiladas, and she could barely finish them, she ended up taking the stuffing out of the tortillas and leaving everything else on her plate because of how gross and bland everything was.
The tortillas tasted old and fell apart easliy.
The chips were stale and they gave us a weird bean dip, it was half decent.
I also ordered cheese dip and the cheese dip was actually pretty good, but not worth buying a small container for almost 6 bucks.
I give it a two because the drinks were good, but other then that the food was horrific. The service was also terrible. The waitress did not take our menus away and left them on the edge of the table, she also would forget things like extra napkins, and a damn straw. When I asked for the check she took an extra 10 minutes just to get it, and when I got it she gave us two checks, I was confused and I assumed it was just a human mistake so I go ahead and tell her its just one check. She then brings us the one check another 10 mins later, and I see that she didnt ring up the cheese dip, at this point ive waited for my check for 20 mins in total, so I ignore it and just get free cheese because its not my fault its theirs. My girlfriend and I wait another 10 minutes just for her to retrieve my card, and when she retrieves it she goes to the kitchen and brings out food to people while holding my debt card and the check book. She also took orders while holding the check. It seems she doesnt understand that we want to get out of here not stay for another 15 minutes. She ends up practically forgetting about our check and the manager or someone ends up bringing us the check, 10 mins later, and I tip the lady 15 percent. I usually tip 20-25 percent but 15 means I did not enjoy...
Read moreMy wife and I went there over the weekend for a late lunch. The food was pretty good, nothing super amazing but certainly value for money. The highlight is certainly the salsa bar!
TLDR Cocktail menu is for show, only order margaritas or beer. Staff doesn’t really know how to make other things that are on their cocktail menu.
The 2 star review is really because of their bar. My wife ordered a strawberry margarita. No real complaints out of her, it was your typical pretty sweet, pretty large margarita that you’d probably find at most places catering to college students.
I saw they had martinis on the menu and even had Tanqueray No. 10, so I ordered a martini with Tanq 10. The waiter brought back a rocks glass full of ice, with a lime.. I figured no big deal, it’s probably just going to be watered down because of all the ice, but not the end of the world.. I took a sip and it was club soda? I told the waiter it wasn’t a martini and asked if he could return it back to the bar. He came back a little later and said the bar was confused about what I was asking for and that they gave me what they thought was a martini. He said they thought a martini was a shot of gin in club soda (which would actually be like a gin highball). They ended up accepting the returned drink and issuing me a refund, so no big deal there. And while a full bar shouldn’t mess up something as simple as a martini, this isn’t an isolated incident. A year or two ago my wife and I went to fajita factor #1, and I again ordered a cocktail off their menu. The bartender ended up coming to my table and saying she didn’t know how to make the drink and said I could either give her the instructions or pick a margarita. The failure lies with the owners. They pick abunch of random cocktails to put on their menu so it looks like a full bar, but don’t actually train the staff up. Nothing more than a good restaurant with cheap margs. Go in with the right expectations and you’ll have...
Read moreRestaurant atmosphere, decor, and seating are all nice. This puts off a nice vibe and it feels bright and spacious. Nothing outstanding. Just better than a g.
Service is trash. Drinks constantly sitting empty on the edge of the table, no napkins when bringing us appetizers or our main courses. Had to wait forever for a check in to ask for these things. Sure did get way more attentive when it was time to collect the check envelope.
Food is trash. Waited over 30 minutes for generic meals that other Mexican restaurants take seemingly seconds to deliver (you know what I mean when the food comes out so fast). When the food finally came out, it's cold and tasteless. Pico de Gallo was just chopped tomatoes and onions. No seasoning. Steak tacos are unseasoned and barely any steak in them. $16 scam. The steak and chorizo tacos same thing. The tacos were also super oily from I'm guessing the chorizo. $16 scam. The cheese dip is mid. The bean dip was mid. The salsa bar is mid. Our bill was $60. Embarrassing.
This restaurant LARPs as a Mexican/Hispanic restaurant. Save your money and go somewhere where they barely speak English. It'll be 10x...
