Inn on the Hill — Hotel in Hattiesburg

This place is awful and disgusting. First off, when we were checking in for the weekend, the clerk didn't even ask how long we were staying. He just automatically assumed we were staying for a week so put that information in the book. It was freezing cold and the office doors were locked, so we had to stand outside and talk to him through the window. After everything is settled, we make our way to our room. There was water leaking everywhere, and you have to be really really or else you'll slip on the concrete or stairs. Anyways, the room smelled like old cigarettes and death. When we turned the light on, the room was just awful. As in hideous. All of the furniture is really old, and cracked with chipped paint. The refrigerator was completely rusty and didn't work at all. No microwave, no hair dryer, no coffee maker, and no iron. The bathroom light kept flickering which was really creepy and the ceiling was moldy. They only had two towels, but they were really really small. Like you can't even towel dry your hair. Also, the place is so worn down that the towel rack fell off the wall and hit my foot. Normally I would've left quickly but we had to stay because they were the only hotel left that had rooms available. The bed wasn't in the best shape, but it was quite comfortable. That's the only good thing about the place. The next morning housekeeping came around and they were so pushy and rude. I denied service but they came in anyways and started picking stuff up, meanwhile I only had on a t-shirt. The lady didn't care though and ignored me when I repeated multiple times that I didn't need anything. So this place is a good price, sure, but a completely waste of money, even if you want...

THIS HOTEL NEED TO CHANGE ITS POLICY FROM NO REFUND TOO REFUND IN FULL‼️‼️‼️ THEY PAINTED OVER WATER MOLD AND THE ROOMS SMELL WORSE THEN A ROOM FULL OF CIGARETTE SMOKERS. ME AND MY FAMILY STAYED FOR 15 MINS ONLY TO PACK UP AND LEAVE TO GO TO A MUCH BETTER HOTEL. ANYONE WHO SAYS THEY HAD A GREAT STAY THERE MUST HAVE JUST USE IT FOR SOME ADULT ACTION AND LEFT AN HOUR LATER CAUSE GOD KNOWS WE COULD NOT TAKE THE SMELL ANY LONGER. MOLD IN THE BATHROOM AND MOLD ON THE TABLES. 48$ GONE AND YOU HAVE THE NERVES TO SAY NO REFUND!!!! IF YOU HAVE A FAMILY AND WANT TO GET AWAY FOR A FEW HOURS. DONT GO THERE. 3 days after hurricane Ida found myself with my entire family at this hotel.We couldn't find any hotel with rooms but this one had two and they were right next to me each other.. it was a unique experience I'll put it that way. I must admit I saw a couple of roaches.. but it did provide a place for me and my family a safe place. 1/2 safe place.. stay 5 days... Not...
