This is a positive review! First of all, I have been an AT&T customer all my life( my parents; and then me). After 5 months of dealing with customer service over the phone, and getting no results, I decided to go to the actual AT&T store in Hattiesburg MS. After a few minutes, an insure rep named Courtney Williams greeted me to hear my situation. She was extremely polite ;, even when I seemed to be in great distress about my situation. To try and make me feel at ease, Courtney thought her manager on duty might be able to weigh in on my situation in order to assist in resolving my 5 month conflict Soon after, Mr. DeAngelo Coleman , the manager on duty, appeared to listen to my plight. He also was level headed , cool and professional . He assured me he would investigate fully. Both he and Courtney stepped away for a few minutes . While I was waiting, DeAngelo and another young lady kept checking on me to assure me I had not been forgotten. Then, Courtney Williams came back to me to say that she was in fact after some diligence, able to get an erroneous charge lifted from my account. I cannot tell you how happy I was! Being as distressed as I was in the beginning, I’m sure I must have been a bit of a “ chore” to handle. But , because of the fantastic professional demeanor that both DeAngelo and Courtney Williams had; they were able to completely turn me around , insuring that I would continue to remain a lifelong loyal customer of AT&T. Kudos to these two . I was starting to feel like an insignificant number , lost in a cyber word of various AT&T customer service reps, but DeAngelo and Courtney Williams made me feel special. Read more"A brand is defined by the customer's experience. The experience is delivered by the employees". On 4/20/2020 I went to AT&T to switch my provider at 12:30pm. I was greeted by Tina. I explained to her what i wanted to do and she told me all the information I would need before I do the switch. However I was given the run around with my previous provider to get the information. I left at 1pm to get the information and Tina said "I will wait for you". Most employees would be like she's not coming back or get upset. I returned back at 3pm, Tina was still there waiting with the same reaction as if it was my first time. Me not knowing she skipped her lunch break for me I felt bad. I provided her with the zip code, she keep trying for like 5 times and keep getting zip is incorrect. She said I don't want to keep running it and we mess mess something up. Most employees would have stopped after the 2nd time but she never gave up. To make a long story short....I wrote the zip code down wrong at 1230pm which was my fault allllllllll along, but i was saying it right. Once we got it straight, process was smooth sailing. At 5pm, I switched providers, she finally went to lunch and I love my S20 ULTRA 5G. Tina, I appreciate you for everything you did for me on yesterday. You are truly a valuable employee to the company and loyal to your customers. I also would like to thank Courtney for transferring all my information between my phones. Read moreWe had an excellent experience with Ivan at this store. The online AT&T rep kind of did us dirty, so we were not only starting over, but having to work out those issues. To be clear as I elaborate, nothing but good came from my experience at this store. It’s the online guy that I am hissing at. I am describing to add context to what we put this poor man through. Ivan fixed everything for us, with a great sense of humor. One number had been ported, (# I currently use with a different provider) and then ended up “unported”; showing as unavailable. I went into “pry from my cold dead hands,” on that l (not aimed at them, and if I had to change it I would’ve gotten over it lol) They took up my cause and somehow figured it out! The only working AT&T # in their system belongs to our kid, which made it essentially useless as far as helping to iron this out. Getting a new number for the 3rd, and the phones needed to be reordered. It was a mess. He was patient and invested as he untangled this… cluster. His manager was very helpful as well. They were looking for any possible way to iron out the fallout from the online rep. Ican spent the time with us and was genuine.
