GameStop — Local services in Hattiesburg

My son has been in need of a Playstation 4 controller for a few months now. We had already visited the Petal location, so I figured I'd call this time before driving over. However, this 49 location didn't have any and said it would be quite awhile before they got any in. I guess they are in high demand right now. Next, I decided to call the Petal location.. just to see if someone may have brought in a used controller. Hoorah! At first, the salesman declined, telling us they were completely out. So, I asked about a used controller, and at first, the CSR told us they didn't have any, but just as we were getting let down, he piped up and said he had forgotten that someone had brought that particular controller that very same day! It was 7 pm, and the Petal store closed at 8 pm, so we hoped in the car and sped over there. Luckily, the salesman held it for us, and we finally were able to buy the PS4 duel-shock controller. Being that my son was using his birthday money, he had just enough to pay approximately $60 for it! Thank you to whomever came in and sold their controller so my son was finally able to play his games again and watch YouTube and other shows!...

Submitted cards for PSA grading in November; store didn’t ship them out until December. Spoke with a manager named “Jo”, basically told me it wasn’t her problem and to figure it out. Order date 11-9 arrived at PSA 12-18.

1/3 UPDATE - Spoke with PSA customer service. Gamestop is responsible for providing information about customer’s orders, as it’s through their account. PSA will be reaching out to this location, because they are misinforming customers.

1/6 Update- Received my card grades. I think calling PSA, and informing them of this stores lack of effort; helped. Still haven’t heard a thing from this store.

Final Update - Spoke to the store manager while picking up my order. Very nice gentleman, that took the time to explain how the Card submission program has changed to improve the customer experience. Will be using the...

Good knowledgeable and helpful staff. They have a great selection new and used playstation xbox and switch they also have collectibles and socks. I give 5 stars because I love gamestop but always say seller beware I realize that the company has to make their money but you will never get value trading in games or systems if you have physicals hold on to them unless you absolutely have too. Yet if you do need to move on or they arent for you give or sell them to friends or family sell them on Ebay or another resale...
