Sea Village #4213 — Hotel in Hawaii

I don't like to write negative things. Overall, it's really not a bad location, but you need to have some heads up here. View is LOVELY. We were on the third floor over looking ocean. Gorgeous. Great views, 1.5 mile walk into busy town center with lots of fun touristy shops and restaurants. However.. however... First: no elevators. We had two seniors and a party of 4 heavy luggage. It's not easy up and down. The end of long days schlep upstairs was hard on our seniors. Room was HOT and stuffy upon entry.

NO AIR CONDITIONING. There was a move n' cool rolling AC unit with a pad lock on the cord (not joking) that you have to arrange ahead of time at pre-check in for $15.00 per day (also, not joking). The maintenance guy was very sweet, btw. The cooling unit was not able to cool the one bedroom unit. We were better opening the balcony and using the provided powerful fans. Once we figured out fresh air and fans, it was quite lovely and comfortable at night. The common areas are severely in need of a refresh. Unit itself was a bit aged but functional... floors made our feet black from dirt. Could use a good clean. More ice Cube trays. Saw negative reviews on the Café around corner but coffee was good, no issues. Overall, not terrible but one should go in knowing what the...

The bed was awful, two big body trenches defined the mattress. The room was right on the water, with an excellent view.
