This hotel was a rather unique experience to say the least. I consider myself a bit of a teckie, but the TV was a real pain. You couldn't transfer from one channel to another by inputting in the channel number. There was an onscreen guide but you couldn't select a channel or program that you wanted to see. It was informational only. Once you decided on a channel you could not input the channel number and navigate to that channel. You had to use the "channel up/down" rocker button to navigate. So if you were on channel 2 and wanted to go to channel 110, you had to "channel up" 108 times to get there. The TV was also pre-set to maximum energy conservation which meant the picture was way too dark for viewing. We couldn't even read the channel numbers that were displayed on the guide (they were written in dark blue on a dark grey background). The desk clerk had to come up to our room and readjust the menu settings, and explain how it works, or more importantly how it didn't work and what it's INcapabilities were. The bathroom facilities were great. The shower was great, the shower head was great, commode was great, had a soft close lid on the commode, plenty of hot water, sink was fine, etc. For some reason most hotels seem to like a concave tub base which makes it awkward to stand because your feet are not on a level surface. Beds were very comfortable, pillows were numerous. Bottom line: The TV set-up, and user UNfriendlyness in operation, will prevent me from recommending this hotel to anyone.......ever. Actually, this issue will encourage me to purposely direct people AWAY from this hotel. To the hotel management staff – I would advise that you have this TV issue fixed immediately, if you want any return customers. The desk clerks said it has been this way for the past...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Comfort Hotel, and I can confidently say that it has been an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and exceptional customer service that made me feel right at home.
A special shoutout to Eric, the General Manager, and Sherry for their outstanding hospitality. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I truly appreciated their attention to detail and the care they put into making each guest feel valued.
To my delight, my room number turned out to be a significant date in my life, which added a personal touch to my visit. It was as if the universe was aligning to make my stay even more special! I couldn’t have asked for a better environment to relax, unwind, and enjoy the precious time I had with my best friends who gifted me this trip.
The cleanliness of the hotel is worth mentioning as well. The entire facility is impeccably clean, showcasing a dedication to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. A huge thank you to the housekeeping team, particularly Marisol from Guatemala! Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and your cheerful demeanor brightened my days.
I am thoroughly enjoying every moment of my stay, and it’s almost bittersweet to think about checking out. I highly recommend the Comfort Hotel to anyone looking for a place that combines exceptional service, cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Thank you to the entire team for making this experience one of the best I’ve ever had. God bless you all – I truly love you for the kindness and care you've shown! Can't wait to return!

Read moreCleanliness of this hotel is very low. Maintenance is questionable.
I understand housekeeping may not be able to remove stains from comforters and are awaiting new bedding from corporate; but, heavy soil on bed skirts, thick layer of dust on A/C vents and behind fridge, food stuck on carpet, hair on bathroom floor, stained chair and ottoman (should be thrown away or donated to frat house), bottle of shampoo under nightstand, stains on bathroom counters/floors/outside of refrigerator are items that should be taken care of at the local level.
If this was specific to one room, I would think okay, they “missed” this one; however, it took 3 rooms before we found one clean enough that we felt we could sleep in. This room did have soiled bed skirt and floor, the tub did not drain properly, rusty fire extinguisher and the bathroom exhaust fan was falling from the ceiling.
With this many issues in the room I noticed the scratched walls in the hallways, stained armrests on lobby chairs, stuck on food in breakfast pantry display, stained and ripped coffee dispensers.
This hotel has great potential. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating, the location was fine for our needs and the room was quiet. These issues do not reflect well on Choice Hotel brand, are the responsibility of the manager and are correctable; however, the reviews on Choice Hotels website suggest that management has been made aware of cleanliness issues and they persist.
No apologies necessary, just fix the issues and you’ll have nothing to...
