Pros: |Fairly clean. Looks like they have done a lot of updating. Nice and quiet. Pool and hot tub were good.||Cons:|Faucet is about to fall apart, keep updating. Toilet is old as can be and should be taller (ADA). I think it used about 3 gallons of water per flush lol. The bathroom door opens in and it's a bit tough to get in and close the door. Breakfast is pretty cheap. The waffle dough though does make a tasty waffle. Now the bad part and I will never stay here again because of it. We left for the day. Before we left my wife took pictures of how everything was left because she had a strange feeling about the people or place. When we returned it was obvious someone had been in the room (do not disturb sign on the door) and likely went through some of our stuff. Nothing was stolen. I will say that but drawers that had bags in them were disturbed and belongings on the vanity were moved. Pictures were taken after we got back as well to show them. The first person called the manager. The lady who I believe may be an owner said nobody went in the room. We asked to see video from the camera almost outside our door. She insisted nobody went in. She called her husband I believe. He said someone did go in the room. He was having heat lamp switches replaced in the bathroom in several rooms. But, he said he was with the maintenance man. So either he or the maintenance man looked in two drawers and moved the bags inside. They passed up cash if they would have spent more time snooping and an iPad so I don't know why they did what they did. The switch they replaced worked fine so it was not some sort of emergency that they had to go in and we are leaving tomorrow so I don't know why they would feel the need to invade their customers privacy unless absolutely necessary. Plus they lied about it at first. I would not trust the place. I spent a little time looking around the room, doing some snooping of my own to look for cameras. I didn't find any but I did find a bullet behind one of the pictures on the wall. I'd like to hear the story behind that one. |Be wary on this one. They absolutely went through drawers that had our property in them when there was zero reason to do so. Maybe if the manager/ owner whatever he is was there with the maintenance guy he was just bored and was looking around, I don't know. But it's bad...
Read moreA MUST STAY AT HOTEL!! ( I know this review might seem a little over kill but i am such a picky person when staying in a hotel ..* and I never have taken the time to write a review for anywhere*) stayed in many hotels traveling for work .. I have even been a housekeeper for the wyndham hotel chain (a Phoe'nix lovation) and this is one of THE NICEST hotels I have ever been to.. especially for the price.. WOW!! It is nicely painted and the parking lot is excellent.. no trash or weeds or anything out of place.. I was very impressed when I walked into my room.. I was in room 119.. (after reading reviews I was a little unsure of what to expect) ... there was no odd smells.. and all of my bedding was clean and the beds were made perfect.. the floors were well vacuumed.. the fixtures were dust free and mirrors were flawless.. the towels were thick and stain free.. no holes in the walls and no burn marks anywhere on anything. .. the toilet didn't have stains.. (even the floor by the bottom of the toilet was sparkling) and the ironing board and iron were practically new.. (no signs of use at all) .. we had a nice tv with working remote.. the drawers were all cleaned out..!! Also the shower had hard water pressure with endless (maybe not endless but I never ran out of hot water at all) ... and the customer service was amazing.. very quick and simple check in .. and since I checked in so late , the lady at the front counter was nice enough to offer me a late check out , 12 , instead of 11. Which I thought was very kind of her even though I wasn't planning on staying that long. The free breakfast was well stocked (and I noticed that if any thing was running low, they would automatically restock it) and had a wide variety .. they had 4 different cereals, cold milk, 3 different kinds of muffins , 2 juices, eggs, sausage, and a diy waffle station (which were very yummy) .. while we were there my daughter used the indoor pool (which was her favorite part) and they also had a hot tub indoors also.. the water was clean and clear.. they also had a little work out room (we didn't use it).. I will definitely use this as my go to hotel whenever I need to in the future and I would recommend it to anyone...
Read moreFirst off the room was clean. There were a few amenities provided (shampoo, conditioner, and a bar of soap). We had a king bed room that we found to be spacious and comfortable. The fridge was nice and cold and the freezer that went with it was of decent size. The air conditioning unit kept the room cool. This hotel had WiFi however it was a little slow.
Overall it was a good night sleep. The bed was comfortable enough however not our favorite. Focusing on the bathroom, the shower had great pressure and the toilet flushed well. The only downside would be that the small towels had some minute stains to them and the tissue box had only a total of six tissues in it.
Negatives: The morning desk staff were not very friendly and seemed quite grumpy. The checkout time is 11 AM and we were told for every hour after that it is an additional $10 charge, this we were ok with. We were not late checking out. The cleaning staff came by our room at 9 AM and knocked and at 9:30 AM came by again knocking louder and after we hollered out that we were still in the room they persisted to open the door to come in; we were not dressed at the time they tried to barge in. I will also add that when knocking and opening the door they did not make it clear who they were by identifying themselves as housekeeping. The hotel also has a free breakfast from 6AM-9AM, however we did not eat since nothing was individually wrapped at the self serve food station and the social distancing between tables was nonexistent. There was cereal, muffins, and a waffle station. Guests were walking around within the food prep area without masks which made us feel uncomfortable due to COVID precautions having barely been lifted and signs within the hotel saying that masks were required to be worn. We did however get apple and orange juice to go. The juice cups were very fragile, cracked easily, and this resulted in juice dripping down my leg.
We would have easily given this hotel a 4 or 5 star rating, however due to the above negatives we are settling on a 2...
