On my drive from Cleveland, Ohio to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, my check Engine light came on and when I attach my portable diagnostic tool it gave me a code that basically told me to stop driving and immediately get it fixed. So at the Motel 6 in Holbrook, is where I ended up. After doing some searching for auto mechanics near my location, I cam across Able Jays. It was already past 5pm, but Able Jays operates 24 hours a day. I called the number an Jayson answered, got my location and the gist of my issue and was there in less than an hour. He looked at my car and told me what he thought was the issue and remedy. The next morning he got the needed parts and I brought my car to his place, as it would be easier for him to fix there with all his tools at the ready, as opposed to his coming back to my hotel, which he would have gladly done. I spent an extra day in Holbrook and when I was ready to leave the next morning Jayson picked me up at the hotel and brought me back to his place. My car was now purring like a kitten, whereas just a couple of days prior it was roaring like a lion. I had no doubt that I would be able to make the rest of my drive to Cabo without further mechanical incidents. If you ever breakdown and are near Holbrook, Arizona, definitely give Jayson a call. We are a full time rv family and had an axle so bent we were not able to continue our journey east. We’d gotten a quote from an rv dealership in Phoenix to fix it but they had to book us 2 weeks out which didn’t work for our schedule. We were only staying 4 days in Holbrook and called AbleJays to see if he could help us out. He was incredibly responsive and came out same day to inspect and order the parts. He was able to upgrade our axels to a higher rating and get us back on track in only 3 days! He quoted us far less than the rv dealer had, kept our schedule on track and we were able to stay in the rv while it was being done. Not only was he incredible in his work ethic and customer service, he was so friendly and personable. We told him we were headed to Texas to see the eclipse in April and he gave us some welding glass to better view the eclipse from.
