The things I bought last night @9:30ish were a 4 for $10 deal, and the lady at the register literally said to my face "oh, these are different, they're the 4 for 10 deal," which i obviously already knew. She then proceeded to charge me $15, the full price for each item. When I saw the price I said "That's a pretty big tax on a $10 purchase" and she looked at me like she was caught but didn't offer any explanation. I got back to my gate 5 min before boarding time, checked the receipt, and had to go all the way back so she could refund me and charge it correctly. Her attitude was extremely condescending and she knew she was caught, but tried to save her butt in front of all the other customers by trying to make me look like I exaggerated, because she was embarrassed. How dare she. I have never been so ill treated by any sales clerk, and she needs to be beyond fired. She heard my phone call at the register that I was in a hurry to get to my gate for boarding and tried to take advantage of that. DONT SHOP HERE. They are completely dishonest. I'm not at all surprised by the...
ย ย ย Read moreBest exodus gift for myself! As I quickly walked through the airport to my flight off the island (moving, sadly) and passed the smaller DFS store, I spotted some Jo Malone perfumes on display. I hadn't bought any in years.
Clerk #18263 promptly rushed to the opposite side of the counter and accommodated me in sampling all the Jo Malone scents. Though quite young, she was expedient, pleasant and helpful, suggesting I get the last gift set available in my favorite -- and she would get me a purse-sized bottle as a complementary gift. I also love La Vie Est Belle, and she found me a discounted bottle of that as well, knocking $20 off my total purchase.
The credit goes to Clerk #18263. She was so nice and friendly - knowing her stuff and getting me the best deal - she encouraged me to spoil myself. I'm so happy I stopped.
Now I have two giant bottles of my favorite perfumes, and I got them both at such a low price, I couldn't refuse. And all of this in one of the most expensive cities...

From the moment we entered the store we were made to feel like we had a security detail on us watching our every move.
Everywhere we moved to, we were closely escorted by a shop attendant that was no more than 2-foot away at any given time.
My partner and I both exclaimed that we were browsing, and that we would call on the attendant if we needed help (when we entered), yet the attendant was persistent following us around.
If you want to feel like a fugitive under close guard, or a celebrity that needs a security detail, visit DFS Honolulu, you will get an...
