If the hotel was $40 a night it would be acceptable. For $100 a night stay anywhere NOT owned by Wyndham. If you cant afford to do that, then postpone your trip until you can. Friendly staff, good location. Great water pressure. A/c works, our room was really small so a/c was a little noisy compared to being in a larger room. This room was a gift, 4 nights were paid for, we stayed 3 nights then we moved to the Hilton embassy next door. We couldnt take it anymore, we should have moved after the first night. I can confirm the beds are squeaky and not very comfortable (from another review), its the box spring or bedframe making the noise. Its loud enough that you can CLEARLY hear the other room's bed squeek above you and beside you. I can confirm the parking lot is way too small if the hotel is busy. The blanket is adequate for the area unless you are cold at 90F, someone else mentioned they were too thin. The pillows are the equivalent of a folded towel, worst hotel pillow i have had. I borrowed a pillow from the people we are visiting. Wash cloths are way over due for replacement, the "clean" ones have brown stains and visably worn. The bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned for multiple guests before us. Dirt / hair on edges and corners. Dirt residue along the tile edges. Urine streaks on the front of the toilet, the shower had visable residue and gave my girlfriend hives on her feet. Nothing was cleaned when housekeeping came in during our stay, the replaced the towels and soaps, nothing else, didnt make the bed, didnt clean the floor.

I will never stay at this hotel again or recommend it to anyone. To begin, they do not clean it well and it smells horrible. Specifically in the elevator and room. The elevator was nearly unbearable. The pictures show they did not clean well. This is how it looked when we got there, someone else’s food still in the fridge, something on the towel, and they did not dust anything. The towel was the one that goes on the floor, so I let it go. Next, they went in the room after we specifically said not to. There was no do not disturb sign for the door, so we were asked before we got in the elevator if we wanted towels. We said no we just got here and have only used one. When we came back a few minutes later they were in our room. If I say don’t come in the room, don’t come in. This is why you use do not disturb signs. Next, the hot water was horrible the whole time. It either takes forever to warm up or never warms up at all. Also don’t count on the amenities list being correct, because the hair dryer in the room doesn’t work. The bedding seems cheap. The sheets were coming off constantly like they didn’t fit, and the mattress slides on the frame. We were not ones that needed breakfast, but if you do, you’re out of luck. Hardly any choices at all. The choices that were there included frozen waffles and some very small muffins. Overall, not a good experience at all.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! Upon Checking in there was a "smell" in the lobby that worsened once in the elevator. It was horrible to breathe it in while in the elevator. I forgave, dropped our things in the room and left. Once back for the evening, everything was SOOO much worse. while locking the door I thought I saw something on the door and thought it was just the reflection of light off of my watch....NOPE! It was a COCKROACH. More specifically, a German Cockroach. the ones that are all but impossible to get rid of in Apartments. There was another one in the bathroom. Definitely not the type that come out of the sewer. Black hairs all over the place, dirty floors/walls, linens were filthy and gross. I'm not sure anything was clean in that room. I used their WiFi to book an AirBnb that was pretty sweet though. I will never stay here even if it turns over to another brand. they're going to have to tent that whole hotel just to get rid of the Cockroach infestation. I would NOT recommend booking here, EVER. Some of the reviews for this place says they have bugs. NO, they have COCKROACHES. GERMAN COCKROACHES. Not the kind of "Bugs" you want to have! The website say they have breakfast...I wouldn't eat anything from here, especially the HOT breakfast!

As a loyal & dedicated member of Wyndham, I always chose to come to this location because of the low rate & never having any issues. I am a Diamond Member I spend plenty of money with this company. I’ve always notified them about the breakfast, first off! My husband hates coming to this location because there is LITERALLY NO MEAT options for breakfast. Literally you only have the options of 2 cereal: fruit loops & Raisin Bran, packs of oatmeal, yogurts, some type of pumpkin or out of season muffins. Not tasty at all. At least provide variety if you’re gonna offer muffins, SOMETIMES they offer flimsy eggs & very thin AND COLD EGGO WAFFLES. The fact that they’re always COLD 🤨 again no meat at all. No sausage, bacon, ham, or any type of meat. So normally I’d just eat the cereal & keep it moving. This particular time I had a lady whom I’ve never met or seen to claim that she was the manager. When I checked in she was very rude and lied about having rooms available on the 3rd & 4th floor. Everytime I stay here everyone else knows me & they automatically know to book me on 3rd or 4th floor. I don’t like being interrupted by noise especially when I’m working or on a business call. Later that night you could literally hear people walking above, which means she lied because after she left other people were being booked on those floors. While paying for the room I handed her a bill, instead of her putting it back in my hand she instead just sat my change back on the counter. Instead of putting it in my hand which would’ve been the polite/professional thing to do. When I approached her at checkout to explain to her how rude she was to me, she started yelling & loudly over talking me. She placed me on a do not rent list because I told her that she was the only person that I had ever had an issue with. Which is absolutely fine, because after this interaction I definitely did not plan on returning anyway. I spend a lot of money traveling. I was tolerating the hotel because it’s in a good area, affordable, and the men here on the property never gave me any problems. The breakfast needs to be re-evaluated & updated, the tubs are stained can’t ever tell if they are truly clean or not, & then there’s this rude and unprofessional lady who claims to be a ✨manager✨ To be a manager she should definitely be leading by a better example. You already have tons of negative reviews & don’t have many people walking in the doors. You’re only making it worse. But of course There’s many more comfortable & more professional hotels that will appreciate the business & loyalty that I have within this company as a Diamond Member. Based on the rest of these reviews I can clearly see why it’s never more than 5 or 6 people occupying the hotel. The Better Business Bureau was also informed on this matter...

We have stayed at several Microtels in the past, but this was the worst experience we have ever had at ANY hotel. We have spoken to corporate about these issues who told us to contact the hotel itself. We have done that twice and the manager has yet to return our calls from our stay in mid July. Since no resolution has been provided, this review is to serve as a warning to others and maybe it will gain the attention of someone to call us back.

We arrived late on a Friday night in mid July. Upon checking in, the clerk didn’t say a word to me. He was on the phone with someone, handed me a paper to sign, and handed me my keys. Also, throughout the entire interaction, he was completely BAREFOOT. Gross.

We walked up to our room and discovered it was a handicap room, which we did not request or pay for. If I were handicapped, I would be shocked that this was a room for me. It was easily the smallest room I have ever seen and would never accommodate a wheelchair or other adaptive equipment. We could barely move as two adults and had to squeeze a pack and play in front of the bathroom to make it fit. All of that was inconvenient, but the worst was yet to come.

Upon entering the bathroom, we discovered a (presumably) dirty pair of men’s underwear behind the door! 🤢 CLEARLY the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned and the floor was disgusting looking. The carpets in the room itself were stained and overall the room was just gross. We asked the front desk for a different room on account of the underwear and he said frankly that there was nothing else available and we could contact management in the morning. No apology, no apparent disgust or surprise at the state of the room. With it being midnight and having a sleeping toddler after an 8 hour drive, we had no choice but to stay.

In the morning, we discovered stained and dusty carpet, and a few hairs in the sheets. I’ve never left a hotel room so fast. We informed the front desk again of our issues and told him we would be calling management; still no apology made.

We spoke with corporate that morning and requested a full refund. No way we spent $160 to stay in a tiny, dirty room with UNDERWEAR IN THE BATHROOM. Two weeks later we still hadn’t received anything, so we called corporate again. They said the hotel had been contacted and that they sent us a 20% off coupon for our next stay (which won’t be happening). We were told to contact the hotel directly and did so two times and still have yet to receive a response now and mid August.

Overall, a horrible, gross experience. Would not...

Over the Past Two Months, it has been pure hell for us in so many ways, hence the Econolodge and Travel Inn (Homestead locations) reviews I posted recently. This Microtel Inn & Suites is the EXACT opposite of every problem and issue we've dealt with concerning staying in places. From the Econolodge Bed Bug Wars of the End of 2022, to the calling the Travel-Inn asking VERY specific question regarding payment, how to pay, must have's, included in cost Questions, even Parking Arrangements. I mean My Wife and I have NEVER been treated so Fairly; much less Respectfully. The Woman whom, from my understanding is HIGH in the Food Chain, as we were Checking out, ad trying to Rush as we - and by we I mean my wife is waiting for me to get myself together to leave. haha. Either way I wet down and even then was several minutes Past Checkout, And i had made a Comment about ho bummed we were to not wake up for Breakfast Alarms. Not sure how many have been Homeless or without- But an Automatic Breakfast comes as a very special Privilege to be offered automatically. And this Lady was so sweet and Dear she was asking if We Would like a Few things. And she literally gave us a Pack of Muffins, and I believe it was a PopTart and Yogurts. Made our Day and we Literally received our Deposit back Right at the time of Check-Out. Her name Is Anitha, i asked her to qrite it down so i could include it. She's so awesome. The Rooms - I LOVE THE SIZE, I don't need one overlarge room for 250. Its literally very Vain to feel as though any one person needs that. But we were able to cuddle and Love our Space the A/C and Heater Both work extravagantly well and Precision Speed. you pick that Digital Degree Number you want. You might just as well buckle up. Cause don't blink or you'll be there. Many won't realize how difficult it is to find a room that has a responsive Temperature Adjuster. You'll notice the Name includes the Prefix Micro. They are sized perfectly and all the furnishings are so Brand New, Clean and Continuously cleaned with dubious attentiveness. Every time we get enough to get a room eve if only For the Night. Its More than worth it and still by far the cheapest room within the area within a solid 5-7 Mile Radius. I so so so Regret not...
