Walked in to an empty store, save the employee behind the counter. I ask if they carried a certain gift card. He points to where it is and within seconds I am at the counter ready to make my purchase. Another customer walks in. She and I wait for nearly 10 minutes while the employee continues to talk on the phone with a coworker from another store regarding what to do with an exchanged item; and after settling that, they went on to discuss other topics; as if it was turning into a store meeting with no end in sight. Not once does the employee take a moment to acknowledge us, apologize, or attempt to multitask. I finally speak up to the fact that they don’t seem to care, and ask if I should come back or will their meeting conclude anytime soon. He gets off the phone a few seconds later and then sheepishly says “I mean, you can come back if you want”, and proceeds to help the other customer who is selling a game (although I was ahead of her, and just making a quick purchase). I then apologize and try to explain that I had worked in customer care positions for a long time and it is hard when you are out and witnessing ppl not caring to try and demonstrate the basic tenants of customer service. He then says “you don’t have to shop here, man”. And he is correct about that. Thanks for the clear and concise advice, Evan. Her customer service was manipulative because she did not honor the price presented on the website. She instead forced me to add a game (Madden 24) to my sale in order to receive the amount offered online. When I pointed this out! She doubled down on deceit and even misspoke to justify her actions. Incentives are always offered in sales and she is clearly out for recognition and to gain a profit. Even going as far as to take money out the cash register draw in the middle of the day as if the other BLACK customer and myself were going rob her. Very biased undertone to this location. Read moreI wish I could give Noah 0 stars!!!! He was extremely misinformed about their refund policy. I purchased a game on 4/4/22 and was wanting to return it today (4/12/22). The game was not opened plus I had a receipt. The receipt was a little worn from being in my pocket. So he looked me up in the system and saw my transaction. But still refused to give me refund. What a waste of time. Gas is too high and I work too hard to waste my time and money in the same place. I will NEVER shop at that location again. I called the customer service and they too are confused and told me to go to another store. They said Noah should have honored their 30 day return policy if nothing else.....with or without a receipt!!! They need to close...
