So I came home and after some thinking I decided that I had to do this review. I just left Ashley about an hour ago, looking to purchase a new bed. So what other places to go than Ashley or Rooms to go. So I went to both just to way my options! Now a review should be based on honesty so in my opinion Ashley has the best Quality of furniture and I would put rooms to go at number 2! But this review is based solely on my experience with both. My first stop was rooms to go. When I first walked in there was a salesman that greeted me at the door, and ask what brought me in, I explained that I was looking to purchase a bed he then ask me what size I said king, the salesman proceeded to walked me over to the beds, the salesman then ask me could he do a narrow down for me to help assist with my decision which was very helpful! The salesman was Very patient and Customer service was a 10/10 ! After we were done I told him that I would be back if I decided to go with the choice I picked. But it was one more stop that I needed to make, and that was stopping by Ashley. Immediately when you walk in their is a gentleman sitting at the door. And he ask what brings in you in today, and after I explain that I was looking for a bed! he says well there are beds all over as he is still sitting down. So I proceeded to walk around the showroom feeling lost! But in my mind I am thinking surely someone is going to come up and assist me. Nope never happened. I found a bed that I absolutely loved! But again no one ever came up to ask was I finding everything okay, did I need help with anything etc. as I began to walk out of the showroom I see a salesman getting up from a table ask me did he stop me to ask did I find what I was looking for! Or did I find everything okay. Nope! He let me continue to walk away. And it was at that moment that I felt I had to say something about the customer service experience that I had. It was terrible! And yes I know walking away from a 1,300 bed that I wanted to purchase is not going to make or break Ashley. But I am hear to tell you that good customer service goes along way. My hope is that they see this review, and go back to the drawing board to see how could they give the customer the best experience possible. We ran into a little issue, and Mr.Craig was on! going over and beyond to figure it out. He gets it! And i thought it was only right that i give this update. I wish i could give Mr.Craig 10 stars he was just that great. You know you have some people that are in this profession for all the wrong reasons, being in Sales you absolutely have to be a people person, and if you're not you will not make it in this field. Read moreWe ordered furniture on 1/5/2025. The salesman, Mark, promised it would take 3-5 weeks to have our furniture delivered. He also said someone would call to set up delivery. No one ever called, so I did. I was told we would have most of it in by last week. I never received a call, so I called back and was told (by the same girl) that they are still waiting on more items and that all would not be in by 2/19/25 at least. I called back and spoke with a manager, Ricky. He kept saying it is 3-5 weeks, clearly Feb 19th is way more than that. He said he would call me back within the hour with a resolution (money back, etc). I NEVER received a call. Conveniently, they are not on BBB. We ordered a ton of furniture and have had a terrible experience. Highly do not recommend.
update Cara just called back and made matters way worse. Said some items are now pushed out even further to possibly 2/28/25. The manager never called me back and she apparently called be on behalf of them. Also was told they can't give any money back unless it is past the 3-5 window (which she also just told me was just a suggested timeframe). This is the worst experience I have ever had with any company.

Read moreThe delivery of our furniture was not acceptable at all. There was one of the sectionals that the feet was put in just threw the cotton fabric, not threw the wood and screw holes were. So when we moved the sectional against the wall way after they left the screws falling out scratched our wooden floor, badly. When we heard it and turned it over the screws fell out. That’s how bad they were not attached to anything. I called to talk to the manager several times and they wouldn’t take my calls. I got our furniture in the Hoover store because when we went into the Inverness store the younger man that we ask about some furniture he told us the price and left us. So we went to him to ask about something we had seen before and his reply was, “we don’t have that in the store you should have got it when you saw it.” We wanted to order it but he was too much of a smart guy to stop and do it. Then there was the man at the Hoover store that humiliated a girl worker there in front of everyone yelling at her that she got his cloths to close to his and her hygiene isnt like his!?! Yelling at her to never do it again and followed her into another office to scream at her. Quite embarrassing, only the young lady that helped us was professional and sweet.
