Lisa Motel — Hotel in Houston

I stayed there over a year in one of their weekly rate rooms. Great facilities, cool island beach scene paint jobs, fantastic staff. You can get mail sent there and any issue I had was resolved the same day. It's also the cheapest weekly rate in the area, which I lived in to be walking distance to work. 65/night or 280/week while I was there. Free Wifi, HBO, Full Kitchenette, Laundry on site. Completely safe and quiet facility. The Citgo nearby is super friendly, great Taco Truck on the corner and now a full scale CBD/Kratom/Vape/Hookah store on the corner as well. I'd recommend the HEB on Washington for Groceries if you're on the Bus. Just take the 85 towards downtown and you have pretty much zero walking with your groceries. Thanks for everything you all. At $40 a night inc tax, this motel was a bargain. On the plus side, the rooms were mostly clean, and freshly painted. Each room is covered in scenes from under the ocean, in the rainforest or a tropical island and the rooms are spacious with microwaves, fridge and many have sofas. ||||Most of the rooms had large mirrors by the side of and above the bed and flashing disco lights. The rooms appeared to be geared towards 'adult fun' and judging by some of the characters around late at night, we weren't the only ones with that impression. That said, we didn't feel unsafe there and saw very little trouble in the area. ||||The Lisa Motel was a bizarre and unique experience. This hotel fills the bad boy niche of a pay-by-the-hour location for spontaneous, romantic encounters with that special someone. The rooms are all painted with various scenes like boating in a lake and Mardi Gras which all reflect wonderfully when the room's black lights are turned on. When that is added to the included running Disco Lights you truly have a night to remember. This is all provided in a room with a nice, flat screen TV, access to those "special" movies if you're so inclined, a clean refrigerator and we'll maintained bath area.
