Great training staff that really works with their students. There is a lot to learn, I strongly recommend that you study and get your permit before starting class. You get paid through training, as this is a job. However, it takes a lot longer than 10 weeks of training to learn how to drive.

As a First Transit driver, you are closely monitored by an arsenal of cameras. If you make a mistake, the staff will review and coach you on each issue to help you improve. Those cameras are also there for you to CYA.

The job is based off of seniority. Schedules are changed periodically, where newer employees choose from what is left. This is also the same for holidays.
