Monsoon Inn & Suites — Hotel in Houston

If i could i would give this a - negative stars. We stayed 2 nights 1st night about 3am we found that shower knob to turn from bath to shower didnt work the next morning the front desk guy barged in to the room while i was naked getting out the shower i screamed he said you have to pay i said we dod ill call my husband so get out i thought that was the end but not more then 5 mins later he does it again i had the locks on but he still managed to barge and pushing the door open. I fought him screaming the my husband is at the front desk paying for the extra hours he said no he needs to pay me here now. I was on the phone on speaker eith my husband and hes screaming at the giy to leave me a lone he's coming the next night still no shower fixed but the same guy comes barging in he had something to take the lock off the top of the door to let homself in said u have to leave now we had 5 mins left and we told him again the shower still not working and we have 5 more mins left. We left the room cleaner then it was when we got it and we were getting dressed and packing up we even took this huge bag of trash out as we had guest. They are very rude...

I booked a room to stay for the night with my family but when we got inside a roach was crawling by the microwave, I thought ok maybe it was just one, I move the sheets and a baby roach is crawling on the bed on the sheets, I go to the front and tell the people working there, a husband and wife about it they try to give me another room, I told them my wife was allergic to roaches and that if one room had a couple of roaches than the other rooms will have them as well. They gave me trouble on getting my money back until we explained to them that it’s not sanitary and that the health department could close them down for that. Well they gave me a refund of 78$ and kept 10$. I didn’t care at that point I just wanted to get out of there. I don’t want to pick a star but I had to in order to post this. We wind up staying at another place for cheaper and nicer. Residence Suites. #RoachInfested #AngryOwners...

70 is a bit much for this dive. The bed was comfy and shower pressure was good. The washer and dryer they have worked well and wasn't too expensive at 1.25/ load. The office people were pretty rude, and just not friendly. They put us in a room right next to an obvious drug dealer who had people coming and going from the room all day and night. Got woke up multiple times by screaming and yelling, and the knocking next door. Not a great neighborhood, considering all the gunshots all night long. They do have truck parking for a full semi with trailer, but no CDL rate. No breakfast as advertised. I won't be back. There had got to be somewhere better to...
