L Nails — Local services in Houston

I really like L nails..

My husband was the one that found it. He was being really nice and gracious to treat our daughter and I this weekend to some fun activities and a pedicure was one of them.

He even got his feet done as well. He ran into an old friend of his there. I was so glad he was entertained for a lil bit with the friend. Lol.

The customers there were really nice. One lady who was there she gave us a lot of suggestions about restaurants and meat markets. We stayed talking.

The owners were really nice as well as the nail tech. It is a family-owned establishment. I like that.

Yes I will be giving L Nails a try again in the near future. I was happy with their service. And their great service making the visit personable for my family.

The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because my husband got our daughter's nails done and he said they should have ran the price...

Let me start off with the owners were very attentive, agreed to take us in last minute, and very warm. No issues with the service. However, comparing this to other places I've been i would say this is not a very hygienic place. The chemical smell is very strong as soon as you step in. To make it worse I unfortunately i saw the tech not use sterile equipment on myself. I tried to give them the benefit of doubt that i didn't see her open them, but then i observed her use the same clippers and equipment on my friend. The only item i saw her open new was the pumice stone. I was very disappointed as I'm new to the area and wanted to keep returning. Had she used clean equipment i would have rated this a...

I went in because I read good reviews about this place. I will never go again. All I wanted was a simple shellac manicure. How can you mess up a shellac manicure? My nail bed was not fully painted, you could see the brush imprints at the tips of my nails, there was color around my cuticle area that was not cleaned up and I had bumps in some of my nails. And when I told them that I was not happy all they did was apply 2 more coats. This nail salon was also dirty. I ended up going to another nail salon to have them redone. I do not...
