Made a one week reservation to try out Townplace suites as I would be staying Houston for atleast couple months.( stayed in room 130 from 9/30 to 10/4) . Rooms were small, kitchenette was even smaller, thought it would be more like Residence Inn but no way near close. Worst of all, my room was right across from the laundry room, so I could hear the maids doing laundry all day and walking across, talking and laughing Coming to the property itself you can tell its an older property, very poorly laid out, Main entrance is more like a side or a back entrance for smokers, couple days into my week long stay I noticed a spider in the bathroom (pic attached) called the front desk to find out there's nothing they could do and they suggested I better kill it myself. I spent over 120 nights at various Marriotts in the last 3 years, and this is by far my WORST EXPERIENCE .Tried to contact Marriott itself but I guess you cannot leave feedback unless you get a feedback request from Marriott so here I am leaving my feedback for far more audience. Also, I been staying next door at the Fairfield inn for the remainder of my two months and Its MUCH MUCH BETTER.

I travel for business and stay almost exclusively at Marriott properties and I am a rewards member. I stayed here for one night prior to my flight and usually have no issues with Townsplace Suites, but this was absolutely the worse property I have ever stayed at. When I arrived I had a headache and went straight to bed, but this morning I woke up and opened the blinds to see dust everywhere ( I was sneezing all night), a floor that wasn’t even swept, and dead bugs as well as live bugs in the room. #408 I have a video of the live bug in the bathroom as well but it won’t let me upload it here. I went straight to the front desk and showed the pics and asked to speak to the manager and was told she wasn’t there but would call me asap so I headed to the airport. At approximately 3pm I messaged the property that no one called me and was told she was in meetings but would call me asap. Now two hours later and still no call. It’s clear this property doesn’t care about clean and quality rooms and definitely do not care about customer service. I will never stay or recommend this property to anyone.

TownePlace Suites Houston Intercontinental Airport is a good place to stay if you need a quick overnight near the Houston airport. Check-in was seamless, and there is a shuttle that takes you to and from the airport. If you find yourself waiting more than five minutes, I recommend giving the hotel a quick call to make sure the shuttle is on its way. The check-in process was fast, and my room was quite nice. I appreciated the small kitchenette area, along with a desk, a working space, a couch, and a bed. It felt more spacious than your standard hotel room, which made even a short stay more comfortable. The only minor downside was that the toilet would occasionally run, which was a little annoying, but it was not a major issue. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. While the room had a slightly more dated look compared to newer hotels, it was kept very clean, which made it feel welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Houston for a night and need a convenient place before catching a flight in the morning.

Well let me start with the Staff I encountered because they were awesome. I want to give a huge THANKS to Holly and Yaritza (hope I am spelling it correctly) for there professional demeanor and downright friendly hospitality. They are extremely knowledgeable about the hotel itself and the surrounding areas. When you visit this locale hopefully one of these young ladies will be on duty.....if you do.....you will see EXACTLY what I am talking about.

The hotel itself can be tricky to find because it is in an industrial park so to speak. The address will be difficult for your GPS to find initially but here is some advice that will help you greatly. If you fly into IAH Airport and you put 4015 Interwood North Parkway into your GPS be aware when it has you make your last left hand turn look directly left when you do or you will miss the hotel all together. You will be turning off of JFK BLVD and when you do it will look like your turning into the woods.....LOL. Don't be alarmed just cross over to the other side of the road because it is a two lane road but you have to make a U-Turn to get onto the Interwood North Parkway.

Now all that I mentioned above is only necessary if your renting a car.....which I highly recommend because downtown Houston is about 20 miles south of this hotel. The Hotel does offer a great shuttle service and they will pick you up right from the airport no matter which terminal your at. Now again if you chose that route just be advised you will be spending all of your time at the hotel as there is nothing to do in this area without a rental car.

When you check in your will notice the lobby is simply beautiful. They have a mini store area called "in a pinch" that offers those "essential" items you left at home.....for a small fee. The dining area is huge....which means they offer breakfast. Speaking of breakfast it is AWESOME......with everything from fresh fruit.....muffins......cereal......juice.....coffee....and tea. Along with Waffles.....pancakes......sausage......eggs.......bagels......oatmeal......and milk for the kids (adults are welcome to the milk as well......LOL). The lobby has HiDef TV......comfortable chairs and they have a great computer along with a printer just in case you need to print your boarding passes (don't we all.....LOL). You will find this to be a welcome surprise because the computer has an application that list a TON of airlines that you can click directly on.....go to that site and print your...

Worst experience I ever had. hotel is a complete scam if I could give them zero stars, they would receive -0 stars, employees or crooks upon arriving to hotel. It's took 30 minutes for us to check in. we stood at the desk, waiting on the receptionist to come as she was in the laundry room washing personal belongings Upon dropping my wife to the airport at 3:30 AM that morning. I return back to room. My car was broken into between the 4 and 7 AM in the morning. I walked out room for 7:30 AM which was parked right in front of the exit door. There were three employees working in from of my vehicle with driver window broken. when asked why didn't notify the front desk about the broken window on the vehicle they simply told me that was not their business and not their problem. Had the police come out for the police report went to the front desk asked to speak with the manager, the manager was supposed to arrive at 9 o'clock that morning upon the reception calling the manager and telling him of the incident that occurred he decides oh I'm not coming till 12 o'clock today. So I returned to hotel room roughly around 9:15 AM . They had already went into my hotel room with my personal belongings in that room and completely turned the room down and dug through all kind of stuff in the room.So I'm under the assumption that me and my wife were targeted upon arrival to this hotel for having some type of things of value and they were either going to try to break in the car as they did for it or going through the hotel room and dig for it. which, i assume too believe that everything that occurred on January 16-17 was a complete scam and was done from employees that worked at that hotel. I'm warning people and warning future employees if you decide to work there if you decide to travel and stay there please protect yourself and don't waste your time on are money or your energy because customer service is horrible From the top to the bottom employees and management. The general manager proceeded to call me a month later 2 times on my personal phone to let me know they're not covering anything so just be aware there's one way in one way out there isn't any cameras on that facility beside the camera facing that one entrance and their isn't any security that patrols their parking lot whatsoever so take at...

There was no running water in our room. I called the front desk to let them know and to see if they could fix the problem around 10 am when we noticed the issue. There was no call back from the front office to let us know that they were working on the issue. Instead, I called them three times. Upon the first call, I was told that I was lying about the issue because the someone checked other rooms on our floor and said the water was working fine. The next call that was made, was to let the front desk know that we we being kicked out of out room at 11:40 because checkout was at 12 pm. This was highly disturbing and unpleasant because it was not even considered that we may be checking out late due to the water problem. Also, to the call was made letting them know that there was no change in water pressure. The front desk then made some calls around the hotel and discovered that the water pressure was low and that their staff was unable to wash towels, etc.. He then called me back and told me it was not their issue it was a problem with the city. And that there was nothing that he could do but allow us to wait in the room until 3 pm to see if any thing changes or charge us another night for staying if we saw fit. He also said that he would inform the cleaning staff of the dilemma and have his manage call us the following day. This bring me tho the third call I made to the front office. Within 30 mins of the last call the cleaning staff told us that we had to the leave the room because there was no documentation that we were staying another night or had sign up for late check out. I think I should mention that I booked the room very last minute (approximately 10 pm the night before and checked around 1 am that morning) driving from Dallas, Texas thinking this might me a great pit stop to sleep and take a hot shower. Thus, I'm pretty sure that there was little documentation for us if we had not booked 24 to 48 hours in advance. So I made a call the front office three time and no one picked up our call. Also, by that time (1:20 pm) the water pressure had change a little bit enough for us to brush our teeth and rinse our body with wet towels to get a decent rinse off. We left as soon as possible. And the call we were promised and compensation on our room has not happened yet. Do...
