Sand Glo Villas — Hotel in Indian Shores

I LOVED Sand Glo Villas, this was my first time staying here during the Memorial Day weekend. I was so incredibly lucky to find this cottage on the bottom floor as requested I'm still happy about it. These oceanfront villas are a pure gem, family owned business and pet friendly. The cottages have everything you need so pack lightly (the even offer beach towels!) they have beach toys, fishing poles, and even kayaks for those who want to enjoy them. They are well furnished with a queen bed, sofa-bed, dresser and night stands, dining table, full kitchen with everything you need, refrigerator, and nice and quiet AC system. For me it was all about some well needed rest and relaxation and that's exactly what I got during my stay. I called the Inn directly and spoke to the very lovely Katrina who assisted me in the most perfect way, we had some good giggles on the phone and the process was very enjoyable to say the least, after the call I was really looking forward to seeing this place and getting there asap. The location is PERFECT it's right on the beach accross the street is the Indian Rocks Municipal building and police sub station, the area is very very safe, you can walk the avenue during the day or night you will never have any problems. Conveniently close to beach shops, restaurants, convenience stores, and boat and scooter rentals. I was very impressed with Sand Glo Villas, the exceptional service from the staff, they were ever so nice (I had a welcome gift in the fridge upon arrival, lovely bottle of wine, and a mini margarita and piña colada, thank you ❤) they are pet and LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈 friendly, I will definitely stay here again! While there I met a really nice family that have been guests there for the past 20 years, we had a really nice time with them and exchanged information so we can plan another time to meet at the beach. I highly recommend this place to anyone, thank you for making my weekend...

Always wanted to walk out of my room onto white sand, paddle in the water, walk the beach and this was the best place ever to do it. ||What a fabulous place this is, feels like I’ve died and gone to heaven. ||This is a real peace of heaven. The beach is awesome, beautiful white sands, a gentle surf, safe swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, sun bathing, walking, chilled people, fabulous accommodations (picture do not do it justice). They even do a great breakfast in the court yard on Sundays for guests, complimentary of course.||Across the road is Salt Rock, great food, great service, they do a $16 early bird offer which is lush. Bagels at Peters bagel shop are the closest I’ve got to the best bagels outside of NYC and I’m from London.||Would I come again. Oh yes, not left yet and I’ve booked for 10 days this time in 12 months time, I’m working up to how long Howard stayed for which was a month.||Katrena is a perfect host, there are 6 units, all self contained. It’s home from home, you can cook a gourmet meal with the amount of crookery, pots and pans etc in a fully equipped kitchen, or do what we do, get take out delivered.||This place is fabulous, bed is comfortable, great power in the shower, quiet and peaceful, immaculately clean thanks to Teresa who is the head of cleaning. Clean towels provide after a two days, ability to do washing and drying (so not many clothes needed). ||Loved sitting outside of an evening with a cold glass of vino listening to the surf. ||Can’t wait to come back. About a month ago it was my boss's birthday and her husband wanted something special and romantic done for her. Since they were staying the weekend at Sand Glo Villas I called the owner, Kat and she helped arrange a beautiful picnic basket on the beach with blankets, candles, wine, cheeses birthday cake etc, The weather wouldn't cooperated but Kat hung in there and waited by the minute for the rain to stop and a glimmer of sun to shine so she could set everything up...Even though I know Kat was completely inconvenienced by the last minute set up and weather....She was such a pleasure to work with and the set up was Gorgeous. My boss said this was the best birthday she has ever had. The room was so amazing and comfortable and the view was TO DIE FOR!!!!! Kat was just awesome!!!!!!!! My boss was so impressed by everything that weekend she booked ME a weekend there for my birthday!!!! It was the most relaxing weekend I have had in years. My husband and I will be regulars!!! I absolutely loved waking up, walking out the door and having my toes touch the sand. They had a paddle board on site...I would have probably never tried to paddle boarded but I tried it and LOVED it. Thank you Kat and Teresa for such a special, relaxing weekend. I look forward to making his my home away from home!!!!!!...
