Walking into Voila French Bakery feels like stepping into a little slice of Paris tucked inside a charming pink building on the intracoastal side of Indian Shores. From the first bite, the crisp, buttery layers of their handmade puff pastry melt in your mouth, delivering a perfect balance of texture and flavor. The almond Danish, with its golden crunch and delicate sweetness, is pure heaven.
Run by a devoted father and son team, every pastry, croissant, and loaf of bread carries the kindness and love they pour into their craft. Their warmth extends to their customers. This morning they even surprised my son with a handwritten “Happy Birthday” on his pastry plate. That thoughtful touch speaks volumes about the heart behind this bakery.
Inside, the space is clean, quaint, and inviting, with cases overflowing with croissants, danishes, breads, ice cream, and endless temptations. Outside, the covered patio lets you enjoy the Florida breezes while savoring the intoxicating aromas of France.
Voila isn’t just a bakery, it’s destined to become an iconic landmark on this barrier island. Every bite tastes of love, community, and tradition. If you find yourself anywhere near Indian Shores, this is a must visit. Come hungry, because you’ll want to...
Read moreI was very excited to give this place a try as I saw they had crepes on the menu. I took a trip to France in March of 2008 and have been on a quest for Parisian Street Crepes (in particular, a lovely jambon fromage one) since in the States. I held out hope this was it.
I am sad to report, this was not it. The service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The ambiance was a wonderful little coffee shop environment. If the thin pancake crepe was in there somewhere, it was smothered by all the scrambled egg. It tasted good but it just wasn't what I was hoping for. I also had a cup of hot coffee, which is self serve and bottomless.
I wish I'd had more time to come back and try the pastries because they had a nice variety and those looked very good. However, I discovered Indian Shores Coffee not long after this visit and, from a hot food standpoint, they quickly earned my...
Read moreThis has always been my to go place for the bakery and coffee, but after today it not so much. They made the latte to go way too hot, very disappointed. I burned my tongue even waited a while but still to hot. Disappointed.
Just be sure to ask tell them not to make it to fast and hot. I think she was distracted and made it super hot, she could get trouble for burning people tongue. 😔
Reply to your message- I would be happy to bring down the stars, I know how coffee tastes. And I will remember what you said, next time if I even bother to come in. I will have someone else try holding my latte. What a poor, feedback. I have come alot and wouldn't complain but today, for some reason you aren't even apologizing for their mistakes that they did, I'm the customer here ...
I was only rating the coffee, I know the food is delicious but not as good from French, I didn't get any today. So I just being nice....
