Horrible experience. Was checked in rightfully so in our hotel room enjoying it like regularly. Walked out to the hall recording ourselves for about 10 seconds someone swung their door open yelling at us as if we weren’t human. The snacks were 92!!!!!! what’s up with that, that’s inexcusable. They treated us like animals because we’re black, they called the police on children who weren’t actively bothering anybody but simply didn’t know of the no one out in the hall past 9pm rule as nobody told us that. The manager is extremely big and rude he approached us as if we were big black men with guns and drugs on us when we are literally young ladies who had pink pajamas on after we came up from buying snacks. He yelled down the hall at us threatening to kick us out of the hotel but he literally told us we can stay if we go in the room and wait until the parent guardian comes back. But shortly they to a minor’s hotel room with security, men may i add, when we are all girls. He called the police on us who forced us to open the door or we would be put into juvi. They constantly harassed us knocking at the hotel door for absolutely no reason because why would we open the door to grown men when we’re literally minors that’s odd. He called us dirty monkeys who were broke and not fit enough to stay here. While yelling he was spitting on us talking very aggressively. They attempted several times to open the door even after saying we could stay. He also approached us with a black security officer who seemed very aggressive and ready to put his paws on us at any moment as if we aren’t just kids. He also told other customers downstairs in the lobby how he was oh so proud to kick us out literally telling everybody. He also made it seem as if we didn’t have enough money or something to pay for the hotel or as if we weren’t fit to stay there because of our race. He also made it seem as if we had boys in the room asking if there was other people in there with us. He’s extremely rude and aggressive poor customer service. What manager tells people in the lobby that he’s kicking someone out after we were supposed to be able to stay there when someone arrived? They also bum rushed us out the room as if we were slaves.

Location is great and connected to the skywalk in a round about way. Unsure as to why a takeout box was attached to the vent in the bathroom but the room was clean, amply stocked, and had a mini fridge. A little outdated but reasonably priced. The friendly and helpful staff is what makes this place! Could not ask for better service from everyone I interacted with during my stay.

Up until the unfortunate misrepresentation I and my companion received. Staff we're mostly kind, and extremely helpful. There were a couple that were quite short, and didn't seem to enjoy their job very much. Or, working much at all. The rooms were clean, it was quiet, very well decorated and maintained

We made a reservation on Expedia for a special Valentine's Day trip. We checked into the hotel and were given our room keys. When we got upstairs we were given a room with two double beds instead of a king bed like I had booked online. I showed the woman at the front desk the email from Expedia stating I had reserved a king room. She told us that when you book a room you are given whatever is available and not the room that you choose. Essentially we had booked "a room" and did not have any specific type of room. I showed her the email again and asked why it said king room on my reservation if we didn't actually get a king room. She didn't answer the question and just kept stating we booked a room but not a king room and if we wanted a king room we would have to pay $20 extra. We ended up paying the $20 because who wants two double beds for Valentine's Day! We paid $35 for parking which was convenient because it is connected to the hotel and the convention center. They told us our room key would get us in and out of the hotel parking garage. When we tried to exit the parking garage later that night our room key wouldn't work to let us out. We tried pressing the call button but it just kept telling us "error" and wouldn't open the gate. Eventually a guy who worked at one of the other hotels jumped out of his car and swiped his card to let us out. When we came back to the hotel after the comedy club we went to there was a sign in front of the parking garage that said "lot full" even though we had paid $35 already for parking and told to just swipe our room key to get in. This was very disappointing. The room was clean enough. It wasn't updated or anything fancy but it didn't look gross. The room was quiet and we couldn't hear anyone from the other rooms or outside. The breakfast was pretty good (eggs, bacon, yogurt, toast, bagels, waffles, cereal, fruit) and was very popular. The location is good especially if staying for the convention center. However, we had multiple issues and felt ignored when trying to correct the issues. We most likely will not be...

Writing in real time. Asked for a double room with 2 queen beds for 4 people. We got 2 full sized beds passing for queens. We checked in around 10PM and tried to sleep. The beds were too small. None of us could sleep. My spouse has back pain and was not able to get comfortable. After 8 plus hours of driving this was just the worst. Went down to the front desk a few minutes ago (it's 1:45AM) and let them know of our dilemma. When we told him these were not queen beds and not big enough for 2 normal sized adults he had no response. Literally nothing. Not, "I'm so sorry, lets see what we can do" or "these are teacup queens they're all the rage now!" But the staff is nice enough, this is not their fault. We just had to pay for another room with a king bed and left our (older) kids in the original room so each of them could have their own bed as they were uncomfortable too..

From reading some of these reviews they are well aware that their beds are smaller than they claim.

We stay here a lot but have not brought our girls until today. So usually we get a king bed. We travel quite a bit and this is one of our favorite stops along the way to our destination.

I just don't know if we will be returning to this location even if it's just the 2 of us. Customer service was horrendous. Just paid for 2 rooms when we should have only needed one.

I don't want a generic reply to this, saying they will "look into it and rectify the situation". Unless the hotel gets actual queen sized beds, which they are not going to do because the double rooms are too small, nothing is going to be rectified. I would like some money returned to me. This is absolutely unacceptable. I came here to rest not to be wide awake at 2am upset.

Morning update: Because we did not sleep well until we got our new room we slept in, missed breakfast and are getting on the road much later than we were supposed to, eating into our driving time and itinerary. This is how one frustrating thing can ripple into many others. But I will stop now as I refuse to let this ruin my and my family's day 💛...
