This was such a an awesome experience! This is a family owned shop, husband and wife were both in house when I arrived. I had a chance to talk to the husband and he was super nice and professional, welcoming and patient for guests ordering. He was happy to share some laughs and conversation while I waited for my order. He speaks so highly of the young man who was working and making pizza, which is nice to see a boss be respectful and proud of his employee, and happy to say it!

Side note (at my old hotel job our "boss" loved to try to embarrass the staff in front of guests even if it was his actions that caused the issues so seeing this was refreshing and restored hope and happiness about future bosses.) I went for pizza and left with a joyful heart.... Now about the food...

The spagetti was tasty and I'm not a spaghetti noodle or red pasta sauce person, it was a simple pleasure I'm not much of a meat person like I used to be so the sauce without it was nice. It kept me coming back to the bowl even when I was full 😂...

The pepperoni pizza was nice, I am not sure if it was a pinch spicy or if it was just me lol but it was decent for me not to like spicy food, I ate it with a smile. I think it was a garlic knot was good, and that veggie pizza was my FAVORITE!!!!! I will be back for that for sure. I welcome new food places and downtown is usually a place I don't like to go due to lack of parking but this place has pick up parking in the front I slid right into. I waited behind a customer ordering and waited for my food to be prepared and when I returned to the car, no tickets, no issues. I loved that, some places make you pay for parking even if it is a run in and out pick up so it made me feel even better to not stress about my vehicle while picking up dinner. I say run to support this family, the experience was worth the purchase! It didn't matter the price spent big or small, the appreciation shown was super sweet, personal, and welcoming....

While visiting Indianapolis I had to hit up a few pizza places. This was stop #1. Arrived after 4pm. No customers other than us. Unfortunately, the pizza that was behind the glass looked to be from the lunch rush... I got a slice of Margherita, they took it from the holding area and threw it back into the oven. When it came out it was nice and hot. The dough had great color and crunch, with a good amount of chewiness. The sauce was deep red, had a very slight flavor. The cheese was pretty much old and reheated and looked as such. The basil leaves were definitely not fresh. The pizza had minimal flavor which I suspect was because it was not freshly prepared. The atmosphere was very minimal. The service was good, however no conversation other than what we wanted. I wish the pizza was fresh I'm positive it would have been better.

Edit* the next day I tried a slice of Sausage and a Connoli. Oh my...the cannoli is fantastic. And the sausage is much better.. however the whole system is the same. Precooked and reheated. Interesting process. Definitely leads to a nice crisp crust. I am upping my review score to 3 stars.

Update: 2024. Pepperoni Pizza was very good. 4 star updated score

Edit: 2025 visit. Pizza still very good. Nice crispy snap to the thin crust. No flop issues. Very good pizza. They appear to No longer sell...

Pizza was good but it was pure chaos today. First time here and it was a horrible experience. It was busy due to the convention next door. Ordered a simple sausage pizza and garlic knots. Waited over 30 minutes for it. People who ordered after me for their food. By the time I got mine, they gave me pepperonis with veggies. I advised them that is not what I ordered and the ladies argued with me. The cook came and asked me what I ordered and I said a sausage slice. He told them what they gave me was not sausage pizza. They took it back. 10 minutes later he started to make my pizza. It was almost an hour since I ordered and we were going. To be late getting back so I stopped them and asked just for a cheese pizza slice. That’s when the chef said he was making my pizza slice. I declined. Horrible horrible experience. There was a line waiting to order but during the chaos...

This place was such a great find! Perfect for a lunch stop. The pizza pictured is bigger than my head! Price point: for the money this is a lot of food. You won’t be hungry plus it comes with a bottled soda so I got a giant slice of pizza, 2 breadsticks, 2 dips, and a soda for $11.00. Atmosphere: not note worthy other than the collection of 90s-00s bands, think Green Day, blink 182, you’re gonna go far kid, etc. that earned major bonus points for me 🤣 Food: absolutely wonderful. Breadsticks are breadsticks and I wouldn’t write home about them but the pizza? 🤌🏼 it’s giving crispy crust on a New York style pizza. 10/10. The marinara is clearly house made and I ate all of it before I touched my cheese sauce. Service: it’s cafeteria style so 🤷🏻‍♀️ but also, they were nice.
