The Art Cinema is hosted within the Keystone Fashion mall. It's unique among other theaters in the area because it focuses on small independent releases that you won't be able to see anywhere else in the city on the big screen.
Ticket prices are about the same as most theaters, perhaps a little cheaper by a dollar. There are some discounts available for some early showing times, about 30%.
They have concessions, but these are quite limited. Only soda, popcorn, candy, and ice cream. Also, no free refills. They also serve alcohol and have a bar setup (though it was shut down because of COVID).
The theater rooms aren't quite as advanced as what you'd see with AMC, but the padded seats were still comfortable and the room was clean. The sound quality was actually great, though, which helped with immersion. There are no reserved seats, so first come first serve.

Read moreIt's an old school type theater that unfortunately attracts an old school type audience; the type that comes from money and thinks the world revolves around them, doesn't understand the concept of an inside voice, and will spend more time on their phone and will make sure everyone around them knows it! If you value the theater experience, this probably is the place you would go to if you were in a pinch, but by no means would this be your 'go to.' Normally clean, reasonably good staff, pretty expensive, just a 'meh' type of place that contradicts its surroundings; this the Fashion Mall...

There were only two employees working, one of the registers wasn’t functioning, and the theater itself was dirty and uncomfortable. It’s clear the place is struggling, and that breaks my heart because this has always been a special place for us.
I’m writing this because we truly care about this theater and hope someone will step in to give it the attention and care it desperately needs. We want to keep coming back, but it needs some help to return to the great place...
