Service was hit or miss, depending on their level of distaste for my skin color. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø it is what it is. The rooms are nice n spacious, same w bathroom. I had a wonderful view of the pond n palms; I loved it. They allow cats & dogs. For a week it was $85. Not sure how they come up w that # but that what we were charged. Interesting tho: there’s a LQ van parked out front that’s labeled ā€˜Orlando Airport’. It comes and goes, but I’ve asked about it twice and they claim it’s not for guests. I’m like, ā€œWho’s it for then?ā€ The phone rep said employees. To the airport? Makes no sense. Why wouldn’t you take a guess 2 mi away if the van just sits there? I also asked for a toothbrush n toothpaste- I saw one I thought in their snack room. She said they didn’t have any. They do offer overpriced snacks- $4 for a can of soup, $3 a candy bar. The TVs are really nice- equipped with YouTube n Netflix. Nice big ā‰ˆ 65ā€ screen. Except for my few misunderstandings, I really enjoyed my stay. Oh, & they offer hot breakfast! Waffles, bagel, cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, toast, oatmeal, coffee, hot tea, juice. And they offer hot beverages 24/7. Nice touch. Property is very nice w ducks /geese/pelicans n a large pond, palms, flowers, thick green grass; there’s a pool, meeting rooms, prob a biz center, fitness, & vending. Large breakfast room w seating. Lots of parking. Next to a Cracker Barrel, Applebees, Waffle House, McDonalds, Chikfila, BP gas station (not 24 hrs), an Amazon locker hub, and a handful of other hotels, extended stay style. Great area, right on JTB & the 95.

When I was checking in, the young lady let me know that the pool was closed for my whole stay even though I called and asked before I booked about the pool. Then I got to my room, and the window was open, so I closed it and turned on the air, then walked to cracker barrel came back, and the room smelled like mildew and urine. Walked down and asked to change my room because of the smell. The room key took about 10 trys before it flashed green to open my room door. Then, this room smelled clean but had mildew in the bathroom shower. The hotel is not up-to-date. There are no plugs for your devices on the night stands or desk. Rugs have stains on them. There is only one ice machine in the who building. There are no vending machines. Elevator dirty and makes weird noises. Wallpaper is coming off the walls, but the bed is comfortable. And the hotel said I would need the card I made my reservation with. Then when I got there they told me I couldn't use it. I had to use another card, which I didn't understand . Won't be staying here again. Oh, and a guest had her dog walking around with no leash, then picked him up and brought him in the breakfast area after he pooped in the entryway. And a lot of "ladies of the night " coming in and out. Outside area was nice and well kept and great location to many restaurants

Certainly! Here’s a dramatic and strongly-worded review for your situation: --- HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE—AVOID AT ALL COSTS If I could give zero stars, I would. My stay at La Quinta was nothing short of a nightmare. The staff here are shockingly rude and completely unprofessional. My family and I were traumatized by their behavior. While staying at this location, one of the staff members attempted to FORCEFULLY ENTER our room without warning while my child was undressed. My child screamed in panic, and I barely managed to push the door shut before they barged in. The sheer lack of respect for privacy and basic decency was appalling. When I confronted the front desk about this behavior, they were dismissive and showed no concern whatsoever for the emotional distress their actions caused. The hostile attitude and lack of accountability from the staff are beyond unacceptable. This place is a complete disgrace. If you value your privacy, safety, and peace of mind, do not stay here. I will be escalating this matter to corporate because families should never have to endure such a horrifying ordeal. --- Let me know if you’d like to adjust the tone or add more details.

If I could give a zero I would. My husband and I were going through a separation. He had been staying there a couple weeks. I ended up staying with him one night and I automatically seen how disgusting this place was. Blood on the couch, looked like a man shot cum all over the elevator, carpets stunk, and restrooms omg I don’t even want to go there. Anyways the next morning my husband had left for work. I went to leave for work as well and left the room only to realize I had left my car keys. I asked the housekeeper to let me get my keys, but they said I had to go to front desk. Ok I go to the front desk and ask to be let in. Or they could go in and get my car keys. But no. They needed my husband’s permission. I’m understanding all this except why can’t you go in the room and just grab my keys that have my initials on the keychain. But after waiting for over 20 minutes I reach my husband who call them and asks for a key for me. They make the key and before handing it to me asks for my ID which made no sense because they heard me talk to him and he then called so obviously I am the one to be let in. They didn’t make a copy or anything so why ask? I showed it to them. As I’m walking away talking to my husband telling how rediculous it was the manager yells very loudly and in very illiterate way says ā€œif you got something to say, say it cuz I’m not the one!ā€ So I turn around and said I wasn’t speaking to you but what are you? The two? I turn and proceeded to the elevator. She then comes from behind the desk down the hall to me informs the front desk to cancel my card and make her one. She was coming with me. I had no problem with that. But now two other people are with her. We proceed to the elevator. Once at the room another worker is with them. A housekeeper if that’s even what you want to call her considering the condition of the hotel. W they open the door and I go to get the keys.. the manager informs them to pack my husbands belongings!! What?!? He was t even there! So now I call my husband 45 minutes away and inform him of this. They never contacted him and told him they were putting his things out. So after they put all his belongings in the hall they for the 1st time ask me to leave. I’m sick and per doctors orders cannot lift over 5lbs. So no. I’m not gonna leave and all his belongings sitting in the hall. I call the police. As I’m waiting on the police the manager, housekeeper, and front desk worker, make fun of me, name call me, threaten me, called me a pill head when all of my pill bottles are prescribed and not one is a narcotic!! The housekeeper even said something about since it’s cancer I will loose wait and die. Well I’m a cancer survivor so no. Make racial comments. The only person that was not rude was the security Gaurd. All the others very illiterate and rude. When the hotel manager arrived she was a bad. She even admitted that all of that had nothing to do with my husband. But all his stuff is sitting in the hall and He was never notified right?! Look at other reviews this place is horrible. So for the owner… If you decide to have better reviews than 1/5 that you have been receiving and have a prominent hotel that thrives….I am a commercial property manager and at any time you may walk into any of my properties and see the clean and pleasant atmosphere. My employees would NEVER talk to anyone like the way yours did me. I DEMAND respect for everyone and if not they are terminated!! I also demand that my buildings are clean and sanitary and would never let any of my buildings look like your hotel. So if you ever need a proper manager to get your hotel up to Wyndham standards please let me know. These ghetto woman and children you have taking care of your hotel obviously needs to be replaced ASAP!! Just like the front desk manager said…. She is not the one!!...

La Quinta Inn off Butler Blvd in Jacksonville, Florida is a stellar establishment. |Cheers to all staff I had the pleasure of interacting with.|Josette, Brittany, Lala, Charika, and Roy. Lucky man working with all these fabulous ladies!! Yall made my stay here over the top incredible with your kindness, help on any questions I had, including bringing me a new microwave.|(Please let me preference with we are platinum lifetime Marriott members.)|My company put me up in the La Quinta for training at USxpress. I had read reviews prior and was skeptical. Life is about adventures though.|They are under renovations, however, they are renovating in a very classy way. I could not even tell it was under construction, except for reading reviews and the sign posted upon arrival.|The hotel was super clean, smelled good, pool was lovely and clean, all the amenities provided I am used to at Marriott stays. The gym and spa were closed for the renovations, which was not a big deal to me, bc it is a great area to get outside and enjoy some Florida Sunshine. |The daily breakfast Buffett had all kinds of great selections, fresh, hot and delishous.|My room was beautifully clean and BiG! yet still had that Florida cottage charm. I had a big window, tv, closet space, very nice bathroom area with cute cottage style doors for privacy, mini fridge, microwave, beautiful lighting in the room, cozy chair to relax in, including a rolly chair with a desk for my afternoon work.|I seriously, cannot Thank the staff and owners of this establishment for the class, comfort, and professionlism they know matters to those who travel a lot.|last thing.. I'm sure I could find more, Ill end on this : the bed and pillows were super comfy!! which makes a huge impact. |Hotels can have all the above amenities and perks: but without a restful comfortable nights sleep away from home,, well we all know the answer to that. Cheers to all that take the time to read this. Thank you. |* I highly recommend choosing this location among the many you may be considering. Sending y'all many well wishes in your journeys...

Booked for the first time at this specific location. When I first walked in I was greater by a pleasant woman at the front desk. I peered down the hallway and noticed a few stains. But didn’t think much of it because it is a high traffic area. Well after we checked in and began walking down that same hall to the elevator…. Let’s just say panic set in! All along the edges of the carpet was mold/wet/ visibly bleached carpet. In many places there was also a powder substance that was intentionally placed there maybe for bugs or even maybe to absorb some of this moisture. I’m not entirely sure. We finally arrive at our door after walking down a hallway on the second floor where every door looked like someone possessed had tried to enter each room. And we go in to find two full size beds that looked like tacos! The beds were so sunk in it was visible. The beds were terribly made, and it smelled so bad of bleach.! I understand having the clean a room and sometimes bleach is all that helps. But in this situation after being in the re maybe a total of 3-5 minutes my chest was burning! I went down to the front desk and checked out! The nice young woman simply said ok, there will be no penalty or fee.. šŸ¤” The fact that she said that so calmly and didn’t even ask for a reason ( I gave one any way) and reversed my funds. Let’s me know this happens on a regular bases. We went right across the street to Hampton Inn. And let them know our situation. And they gladly gave us a great rate and instantly our night was turned around! Lastly, shame on the owner of this La Quinta! No one can safely stay here. And I know...
