This is a coffee and tea shop that is the first franchise outside of their starting locations in Tallahassee. Only open a few weeks and they are trying to do all the right things about doing business.
You will find only coffee, tea and hot chocolate drinks here, no spritzers/refreshers/sodas, etc. Focus is on making each drink high quality. High end grinder dosing and espresso machines so that they can get consistent drinks. Any flavoured drink was right on the money for sweetness (vanilla cold brew) or spice level (chai latte). The cold brew had an option of which beans you wanted and it was smooth, and you could taste the other caramel flavor of the specific beans used. Options to buy a gallon of cold Brew or growlers too. They also asked about what type of milk you wanted for each beverage (even oatmilk if you prefer).
Owner's daughter and son in law were on point along with a couple other staff working. Got the history of the namesake, offered a suggestion about monitoring the temperature of warmed items, and they were asking about how things tasted along the way. The space is modern, and the noise level was fine when it was about 20% full. Small retail wall for single origin beans for home brewing along with Lucky Goat swag (coffee mug for example). Also, options to join a rewards system with your phone number.
Just on the perimeter of Town Centre on Gate Parkway tucked a little out of view but worth seeking out. We went shopping at the Town Center and we were looking for another coffee shop to try. Glad we stopped in and we will come back the next time we are around. Hope they...
Read moreLucky Goat is hands-down the best coffee spot I’ve ever visited. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warm, rich aroma of freshly roasted beans—it’s clear they take their craft seriously. To me, their coffee is chocolatey, perfectly balanced with low acidity, and subtly spicy. I think every cup feels like having a warm blanket wrapped around you. It’s the kind of coffee that makes you slow down and appreciate the moment... and we all need more of that in our busy lives.
The staff here is equally remarkable: friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. They’re happy to chat about their beans, recommend a brew method, or help you discover a new favorite roast. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting.
If you love coffee that’s expertly roasted, full of character, and brewed with care, Lucky Goat is an absolute must-visit. It’s not just coffee—it’s an experience worth savoring every time. To the team at Lucky Goat, I'm so glad you've made...
Read moreJust got a “hot” latte from here. I’ve been here before and it’s a good spot not far from my house. It was busy, when I got there, there was 6 people ahead of me in line, with only 2 baristas working and no help from management. Automatic red flag. When I finally got my coffee, it was lukewarm like the temperature of milk you’d give to a baby. When I commented on it, the barista asked me “Did you want it hotter?” No shit. I ordered a hot latte. No im just PERFECTLY fine with the way my lukewarm latte sucks. I imagine they just didn’t make enough steamed milk to fill the cup up, but instead of just making more steamed milk, they just topped it off with COLD milk. Which is like, so dumb. You’re a barista making a hot cup of coffee, in what right mind would you put cold milk in it?? Seriously stupid. I would’ve been fine waiting longer for it to be good instead of getting a rushed, shitty...
