I was at the register about to pay for a Lacoste Tshirt(59.50) when my fiancé wanted to try it on. The store manager Tamir agreed so he went to try the shirt on and I walked back to the clearance section. I found a shirt labeled HB for 35.00 with a green dot on the clearance rack. As my fiancé came out the dressing room we walked back to the register. He started checking us out and said the total was $101 something. I then mentioned that the shirt was on clearance so Tamir rung me up again and proceeded to tell me he can't honor that price because someone put the green sticker on the tag and it wasn't him or his staff who put it there because they don't have green stickers in there store.(False advertisements for sales) Tamir then began to state he can't honor the price because he had the same shirts folded on the table. So I stated that I got the shirt from the clearance rack(which was on a hanger). He said he knows but a guest had to put the green sticker on it. So we both started walking to the clearance rack to look for another shirt but another customer came in so he went back to the register and I continued to the clearance rack and found the same shirt in a different size with a green sticker hanging on the rack. I took the shirt to him and Tamir still wouldn't honor the price. He continued to claim a guest came in hung up two shirts and put the green dots on the tags because they don't have green dots in their store. As I tried to understand the logic it seemed as things were escalating because now I feel as though he thought I'm walking around with green dots in my pockets, putting shirts on hangers to get a discount. I asked for corporate number and called corporate. I am currently waiting on someone to contact me.
P. S. I walked in the store and headed straight to clearance section. I never went to the table until we went to the register the first time. Also the only time I have visited the store was in June for my fiancé birthday and July looking for a Congratulations gift.

Read moreAs a former DXL employee, I had high expectations. Unfortunately they were not met. I specifically drove 2 1/2 hours to Jacksonville to shop and get fitted for a new suit. When I arrived it felt like the salesperson was rushing and didn’t really take the time to listen to my needs. She constantly interrupted me saying “I know, I know” and in the end she did not deliver the service that I was expecting. In addition, I came looking for a suit and ended up purchasing one off the rack and ordering a jacket to go with the trousers they had in stock. I purchased the trousers and specifically stated several times that I wanted the jacket to match. The salesperson assured me that she was ordering the matching jacket. However after reviewing the receipt, it was clear that she did not order the correct color. I went back to the store but she had left for the day. The young man behind the counter researched it and informed me that DXL doesn’t carry the color I requested. Unfortunately he was not able to adjust the order to purchase the correct trousers nor would he assist me with making it right. He refused to call customer service and only provided me with a post-it note with the customer service number, told me to just call them, and he proceeded to assist someone else. After this incident I can assure you that I will never shop at the Jacksonville location again.

She found items for us that we were looking for and her skillful and knowledgeable help made our shopping trip quick and easy. We purchased several casual clothing items and a suit. Clothing is high quality, durable and comfortable, and the suit is amazing! I also want to give credit to DXL customer service. I had a problem getting my gift certificate and I dreaded calling because most companies these days have automated systems, long hold times & awful customer service. But my call to DXL was answered quickly and by an actual person! Kudos DXL!!! And a big shout-out to Craig who was the customer service representative that quickly & kindly helped solve my problem.
