Tower Tavern — Restaurant in Kansas City

I am writing this review based on a very recent experience at Tower Tavern. This review is relevant to how poorly the staff treats their customers especially when they are favoring bar patrons who are friends of the staff and owner. This establishment supports domestic violence. Especially, one of the owners who is a corrupt, chauvinistic drunk who will publicly humiliate you with unscrupulous lies in order to protect his drunken investments who regularly feeds his insatiable alcoholic cravings. He has no regard for human decency or women. The owner that I speak of is the geeky drunk with the glasses that stands on the side of the bar getting loaded with other bar patrons. If you don't mind this type of behavior, then kudos to you. However, if you have any decency and respect for women, then I suggest that you stay out...

We were in a private room for a birthday open house. It was set up really well, access to outside, one dedicated bartender who worked his butt off. However, there were no bathrooms nearby and the beer selection was limited. You had to create a new tab at the main bar if you wanted more than the two beers on tap which is difficult to do in two places when the bartender has to hang on to your card. The food was awesome. That's what surprised me. I haven't been here in a while and the food was never memorable. It was this time. Super delicious and the bartender brought it right to us still warm. Aside from the bathroom and lack of beer options, it would just be great if when pouring beer you didn't put the nozzle inside the beer. There are better ways to pour beer...

For me and my husband, this is the place to go.

The food was phenomenal, and hot when it came to the table. We got the charred buffalo wings for starter, perfection.

I got the italian ham and it the bread was cirspy and it was hot and the cheese had the best pull.

My husband got the blackened chicken sandwich which he said was not only delicious in flsvor, it was also surprisingly well balanced between bread and meat.

As for the service and atmosphere, it was casual on both sides. There was no pressure to talk to the server for any length of time and we didn't feel rushed at any point. It was relaxing and fun at the same time.

We did get coke and beer between us which brought the bill up just a tad but it was still a good amount of food for the price...
