If I could give this place a zero star, I would. First, let me say that I didn't stay here. I booked here, checked in, but did not stay. That in and of itself should say more than words can. When I arrived for early check in (I paid extra for that) we were met with a property that literally scared us. It is dark, dirty, had tunnel like halls that led to the rooms, dirty grounds, BLANKETS and CUSHIONS IN THE WINDOWS FOR CURTAINS, (some units), a man leaning outside of his car, door open, face sunken and eyes rolling-NO KIDDING!! This was observed while driving around the complex locating our room. I immediately returned to the check-in desk to discuss my concerns. Raissa, (representative) was polite but did not want to validate my concerns. By doing so, would mean they have a problem and that was not about to happen. I expressed my GRAVE concern that neither the online reviews nor the online pictures were representative of the place. She said, "Maybe it's becaue you're facing Old Towne and it's run down. Let me move you to a newer unit." OK, I thought, maybe an interior room won't be as bad. So, in the spirit of cooperation, I went with a maintenance person who showed me the "updated" room. No go. Room: Mildew on the windows and door, and the door and frame itself looked like it had been the subject of a kick-in. Overall though, the inside space was better than the property. The property looked like it was home to a camp where unsavory characters hang out and do unsavory things. I returned to the front desk and thanked the rep for showing me an additional rental but still preferred a full refund. She said she would need to talk to her manager/host Brian Wong. She left and returned. Upon return she said, "Because you booked through Airbnb you have to go through them first. Once you tell them why you want a refund they will contact the host and because he's now aware of your concern, he's expecting their call. It's a matter of protocol at this point." Ok, I thought.I was skeptical but thought the process made sense. I called Airbnb and explained the situation. As expected they said they needed to contact the host. Fully expecting the host to be like, "Yes, I'm aware of the situation, we've agreed to a refund", to my surpise, I received a response from Airbnb that the host, Brian Wong, DENIED my refund. Really??? Becaue they JUST told me that it was a matter of jumping through the hoops at this point. LIES. All the while a guest entered the front lobby and said he was checking out early (Hmmm, wonder why) and inquired about a refund. They told him, "Yes, you will receive a refund on the part of the stay you are not using." So, some people get a refund and others don't? When I explained to Raissa that her property was outdated, entirely different from the reviews I had read and from the pictures I had inspected, and that it looked like heroin addicts were living on the property she said, "I assure you, we only rent to snowbirds for 30 days." I was SHOCKED. I said, "You have long-term renters here?" She said, "Yes, but we limit it to 30 days and have extra security on the property." "Why do you need extra security on the property, I inquired." She said, "For our guests' safety." Again, I wonder why they deem it necessary to have extra security on site. While reading their website description of their property, it struck me odd that they discussed secruity in such detail. I paused for or a minute saying to myself, "Why are they trying so hard to convince me that this place is safe?" I quickly dismissed that feeling and chalked it up to them just being extra clarifying for those that really value safety (ummm, me).MISTAKE Despite being denied my refund, I refused to stay there. That should tell this reader how bad this place really is. I'm not saying these reviews are false but I am saying they are not indicative of my experience that I had on March 14, 2024. I IMPLORE you, do NOT book here first without being onsite at...
Read moreI think this place is pretty awesome. The outside does not look appealing, but we had no issues. We were located in building K room 1346 which was on the first floor and the second door in from parking lot. We parked out car right outside of the sliding glass door to our room and unloaded everything through there. We had a 2 bedroom suite. Many hotels call it 2 bedroom, but it is not. It's one room with a bed in the living room area.
When you walk in the front door immediately in front of you is a bed that hides away in the wall. There are 2 single chairs on each side of the living rooms ac unit. There is also a rectangular coffee table and a 2/3 seater couch. I like that the material of the couches were wipeable unlike most hotels that have nasty cloth couches. There are 2 end tables on each end of the 3 seater couch. Next to that is a vanity with a wall mounted t.v.
There is an open doorway next that leads to the kitchen. The kitchen has a table with 4 chairs, 2 burners for cooking, a refrigerator with a freezer, cabinets, microwave, and toaster. I forgot to check the utensils as we did not use the kitchen for cooking. It also has a dishwasher. The hotel provided one dish washing pod, a new sponge, a roll of paper towel, and dish detergent. Next to the table is the entrance to the bathroom. The only thing I did not like about the bathroom is the tub. Most hotels have the slip resistant tubs and so the built in slelip resistors always look dirty. I have the same tub at home and from the store brand new they look this way so it's not due to the hotel not cleaning them well.
There is a doorway that leads from the kitchen to the bedroom. Our suite had 1 king bed. 1 full/queen bed, a sink area, a place to hang your clothes, TV, and other decor. The room was enormous and you could fit a king blow up mattress in there if you needed to. There is another ac unit in there as well.
I also liked that the room had tile throughout as carpet gets nasty quickly. The blanket they used which is one similar to what we have at home which is a velour texture that doesn't look trashy even after a million washes. This is one of my other pet peeves from other hotels I have stayed that buy those cheap looking blankets that pill and do not hold up.
The staff was nice and the beds were comfy. We had no issues with the toilet, tubs or sinks. There were always staff working and trying to maintain the property. I would definitely stay here again. I have stayed at Universal, Disney, and some other resorts and I can say this place was worth it and often times better than the name brand hotels we usually stay at. I was nervous at first about booking here and so glad that I did. This hotel fit the needs of my family!
The hotel also has a cute little coffee shop beside the main building. There are a variety of restaurants and stores close by. I did not use any of the amenities, but will try them out at our next stay. Other than a few aesthetic things (ac units are that old yellow color, next to an over grown grass lot, the exterior colors) this place is great! I did not take away any stars for aesthitics because everything else was awesome.
Btw. Across the street from main building is a World of Food Trucks which is a permanent food truck lot with over 30 trucks. It's located behind...

Our last trip was good. The room was clean, plenty of space to stretch out. The upstairs occupants were VERY noisy late into the night. The front desk asked them to be considerate, but it didn't change anything. The 2nd night they allowed us to simply sleep in another room so we didn't have to actually move all our things for just one night. Greatly appreciate that. While we have had our share of issues here, they are all minor and staff does what they can to make them right. This is currently our 'go to' place in this area. Additionally, I've changed this rating to 4 stars, instead of 3.
PREVIOUS: We returned to Celebration Suites and enjoyed the updated rooms. Having a private bedroom is a nice way to enjoy a vacation when traveling with family or friends. The one bedroom suites offer privacy, kitchen for food prep, and a nice social area.
The rooms seemed pretty clean, which is nice. Without any carpet it makes for a more cleanly place. The kitchen was stocked fairly well.
Our suite was across the street from the main office. It was still a close, easy walk to Old Town for most. For those that may not be able to walk, there are ample parking places at Old Town.
Ana was an amazing host. She helped us book our room, same day, and accommodated our request to check in a little early. At check in she was very respectful and efficient.
Location is great. It's approximately 15 to 20 minutes to Disney, depending which area you are visiting. There are a plethora of food trucks across the street and more down the street. There are also several fun miniature golf locations nearby.
Why the 3 stars? Mainly due to loud music until very late into the night. It's important you host an environment that allows your customers to be comfortable at all times. A hotel is in fact a place people come to rest. The noisy environment was a harsh reality for us and made for a horrible night. While the hotel may state they cannot always control their guests, which I believe, they can likely remind guests of quiet hours (which I didn't see posted anywhere like other establishments) and also enforce the rules to make it a great place for all. Noise is my #1 factor in rating a hotel.
Overall it's a great place to stay for the price, but we wouldn't...
