Well been so far from the real thing, this is an ok Restaurant I guess. First of all I order a grill shrimp plate but got a six pieces of shrimp dip in sauce. Even the lady show me it was the same thing but was she blind or something. With my experience of grill shrimps, I would lick the season and lime off them shrimp but I found my food was cover in a sauce not so good. I try getting the server to take it back but she insisted it was the same. Been a girls night out I didn't want to ruin the evening so I ordered a different plate. (Yes! I payed for that) š Well atleast their toast octopus š was good and definitely way better than the grill shrimps I order before (not real grill shrimps) The place was a bit cram when seated in the tables and chairs thats in the middle of the restaurant. Next time I am asking next to a window chair. The price is pretty high but it is worth the experience, plus their singer was wonderful š¶š¤š definitely enjoy his singing, fwy, tip your singer for they make their earnings through tippingš..... I can't say I tip and didn't tip the waitress since the restaurant automatically took 20% of my order and added as gratuity when checking out. Use to be 15% and use to be if you wanted to but apparently its done after u pay and you see your receipt. Well didn't see that coming š§¾ ..... š„“ at the end of the night I was a little dipsy (I had a designated driver so I was ok to get drunk) I definitely enjoyed my drinks šø so yeah, go by enjoy a some ok restaurant (but don't order grill, cause it's not) and have a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy mom and I each got the shrimp fajitas from the TexMex menu section. Most of the menu appeared to be for bigger parties of hungry folks. Not finding many smaller plate entrees from browsing that menu. We managed since I do speak a little bit of Spanish. They had a karaoke performer roaming around for entertainment on Saturday night. I admit the shrimp fajitas are as good as available from a bigger city. Excellent presentation. They also offer seafood Ceviche tostada in place of the regular chips n salsa as a starter while you browse the menu. My menu had some greasy residue. My mom wanted hot water, but they only had Ice water. The waitress gave us the bill, but then was gone from our aisle for a long time while we waited to get the credit card to her. My mom saw other customers pay up front, to we decided to pay there instead of waiting for the waitress to come back. English / Spanish , and the loud music made it a bit harder to get the right service from our waitress, but hand signals and pointing at pictures on the menu got us through the dinner event. A gentleman behind the cashier did get us a bag for our take home box before I figured out who to ask. The staff appear to be alert for visual queues to help...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst Italian we ever had ...lol, that's because it is Mexican seafood. My disclaimer: We are our own worst enemy in this review. Yes, we thought it was an Italian restaurant...so that was the first disappointment ( that is on us and has nothing to do with the actual restaurant). When we entered the establishment there was a man singing Hispanic music which was beautiful, he had a great voice. The hostess quickly sat us and gave us our menus. The menus had a LOT of pictures... of seafood and shrimp with heads and crawldads with heads and things like that so, not my cup of tea. I did see that they had shrimp empanadas so we ordered those and I was underwhelmed. We ended up splitting fajitas and while they were okay, the portion of guacamole and sour cream and things like that were so small that we couldn't really share the toppings. Like I said, not my cup of tea but,...
