Update (2021): My family insisted on returning this year despite my unhappiness last year given we could not find the same amenities and type of rental anywhere else on Lake Delton. The condo was cleaner this time, except for the drawer under the stove which was disgusting. There is wear and tear that does not get TLC so the condo is looking worn down. The most disappointing part of our trip was management. A bachelorette party took over the property beach. They spread out across the entire property, started blasting music and even set up a bags game across the length of the beach. There were a least a few complaints to management who DID NOTHING except to tell us to go to their other beach a little further away. Since the bachelorette party stayed all day, the other beach became more crowded as management directed guests to that beach instead of dealing with the issue. We all paid for the amenities at the resort. One party should not be allowed to prevent other guests from using what they have also paid to use. In addition, there is a sign posted that says “no public intoxication” and it was very clear this party was liberally drinking all day. Very poor on the part of management. They clearly bank on the fact that they have the best amenities and rental spaces and don’t believe they have to manage much to assure all guests enjoy their stay.
(2020) This was our first time staying at a condo owned by the resort. Very disappointing. The second bedroom did not have an air conditioning unit or ceiling fan and a box fan was not provided as in the privately owned condo. And, there was art work in the closet taking up substantial space with a pair of socks left from other guests. The showers are very small. There were no implementation of coronavirus safety precautions. The hot tub limit did not allow for social distancing and the pools were allowed to be crowded. Would have hoped for a sign up sheet with time limits so guests didn’t have to choose between safety and enjoying amenities. Not planning...
Read moreBefore I came to the caribbean club resort I read the reviews and I was a bit worried. I decided I would give it the benefit of the doubt. I walked into the condo and it looked pretty nice. But within our stay we started noticing things that shouldn't be especially since this isn't a motel 6 and because it was quite expensive for 2 days. First of all we decided to use the not tub and the jets didn't work, the hot water ran out at half filled. I was pretty upset so I called the front desk and they said they would send the maintenance man over in the morning. So we waited and he never showed up. Second the tv in the bedroom did not work, and later the next night the tv in the living room didn't work.the linen and blankets and closet smelled like must. The coffee pot smelled like pee, the blankets on the bed had some sort of food stuck on it or God knows what. Most of the outlets did not work, the Wi-Fi did not work. On the side of the bed where the bed skirt rose up was what looked like blood or some sort of nasty stain. The beds up stairs in the loft felt like piercing metal from the springs im assuming because the beds being so old. The utensils where crusted with old food. I do not think my family and I where asking too much, I do not allow my house to get anywhere near this so why would I want to stay in a down grade compared to where I live. The rules here are outrageous and they can't seem to hold up their end of things. I will never stay here again. I got 25 percent off which in my opinion doesn't even come close to reimbursing me. Oh well lesson learned. Make sure if you stay here you check the room so you are not disappointed. The plus side is the fire place and...
Read moreI have mix thoughts. If you want to do the waterparks experience stay at a waterpark as booking here plus day passes at waterparks is more expensive. This place is expensive, we paid for 2 nights is a 2 bedroom close to 800, the units are condos owned by individuals, some have different futures. We were moved to a loft (2nd room no air conditioner, 2 fans so for a hot day I wouldn't recommend) due an electric issue, the maintenance person was very nice, helpful and understanding, but the receptionists are totally not helpful, they are teenagers moody and no knowledge, in general very hard to have communication with thethem. The bed sheets I hardly believe they were changed ,we found stains, hair and other small debry(nails or something). Looks clean but the bathroom showers are not very clean, most likely is a very light clean as there is fuzz and dust unde the beds. The other inconvenience was the hours of the office, never clear, never the same, closes at 5 or 7 or 8 or 10 if you need anything you are on your own. Is not a hotel service. Well the maintenance or engineer told us for emergency he is available. We took our own towels, our food to cook. They expected all dishes to be clean but they don't have sponges so we use our hands to scrub the plates. You need to leave the place clean otherwise you will get $150 fine. The pro is that al least we had quiet time ,no hallways with kids running like in the hotels. I may stay again only for that . The manager wasn't that nice, she looks she is tired of this place. Infoor pool is avarage, not sure if ir has filters. Outside pool it's ok.We did not use it. Some have view to a lake and acces to a deck, some have views...
