Hubby & I stayed in unit 207 from 6/26-6/30/18. This unit is lake level with a nice, private patio. There is an elevator in the next building (right next to the stairs leading down from the parking to the docks and level where condo entry was). Husband struggles with mobility so the elevator was a must. We enjoyed our stay. Everything was in working order. We sat on the patio and watched people skiing and tubing and pontooning and fishing...you get it, right? Since we are seniors, it was fun watching the action on the water. We enjoyed the fireplace (we brought our own Pine Mountain logs). Lighthouse Cove is very close to Hwy 12, where the water parks & restaurants are, and a lot of other fun Dells activities. Since there were a lot of condo owners staying there, we were able to meet and visit with some of them. What a friendly, helpful group of people! This one bedroom unit has a queen bed that was very comfortable with a jacuzzi in the room, too. Note: the bed sits very high off the ground. I had to put a chair next to the bed for hubby to stand on, so I could help roll him into bed. Not easy for someone with mobility troubles, but we managed and slept very well. Also, keep in mind that there are not any luggage carts. These are owned by owner condos. We would recommend this resort to family and friends without hesitation. The owner, Chris, was very quick to answer his cell phone when I needed help and clarification about a few things. It was a very nice time away...quiet and relaxing, until we headed into the Dells. Good grief, it's busy there in the summer. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their time in Wisconsin Dells, even with the "overload" of people. Ha. Questions? Feel free to ask.||||Jean & Bob...
Read moreLocation location location! We stayed here this past week with the in-laws for s few days. I won't get too specific about our condo since that can vary from owner to owner but it was a decent place. Not perfect, not great, but very good. That's for a separate review on the booking app. As far as the overall property is concerned it is in a great location. The balcony gives you a great view of the lake and is a pretty wife balcony. There's watersports on the lake so you'll see boats and jet skis and canoe, etc. There's a (small) private "beach" that is shared by the property. Has sand , you can walk into the water, it's small bit cozy - chairs are provided. There's a bbq gas grill people can use near the beach & there's also picnic tables near the grill to enjoy a cookout. The property has a private pool house that can be used by guests but the gym and sauna are only for property owners and off limits to renters. The pool is a decent size- not huge. And goes.grlm.3ft to about 5ft. It also has a nice size hot tub. Water was hot and felt good but i felt it needed more maintenance. Some of the tiles and grout look warm and i would also see some black chunks of something floating around in the hot tub. (Mold?) Overall the stay was great. We had a blast. No assigned parking in the outdoor parking lot but we never struggled finding a spot..would definitely...
Read moreWe stayed at one of the condos via air b&b. Sunrise Suites LLC is part of the Lighthouse Cove Condominiums. The condo is perfectly situated right on Lake Delton (see video of view from our balcony). Our unit Condo#203) had a large hot tub in the bedroom. We loved to ROKU TV and all the streaming services we could log into with our personal streaming services. Spectrum TV was also available to everyone.
This is a value resort, so it only provides the basics with limited kitchen supplies. Bring your own ice cube trays, cooking supplies, spices, cutlery etc. Rates vary, but we paid $75 a night plus the $70 once per stay cleaning fee and normal taxes. So very reasonable, especially if you stay a few nights. Absolutely no pets allowed, probably due to HOA rules. Quiet time is 10pm to 8am, so no hot tub either during this time! Condo has a fireplace, but due to some regulations, you cannot use it?
**There is an elevator that is hard to find but worth it unless you like going up and down a LOT of stairs. The elevator is located near Condo #413 and was a lifesaver for my wife who can't climb stairs due to arthritis.
Condo is very clean. Chris our host communicates everything extremely well even though we never met him in person.
We loved the electronic code to lock and unlock the condo, no...
