We went there on July 31st of 2022. It was scorching hot outside and there wasn't much shade sadly. The wristbands/tickets were way overpriced at 40 dollars each and when we went to get food they usually forget half of our order. On the spinning car ride half of it was being held up with duck tape and we couldn't sit in them. There are also a lot of stands with bootleg items and plushies which shouldn't be sold due to copyright issues/non licensing on them. The good part about all this was honestly the one stand doing henna and flower crowns. The flower crowns were very pretty and the henna was amazing! Also the service at a couple of stands was amazing such as the Whidbey coffee stand. (Great coffee!) There was also a band on the stage with great music too! It's just sad that most of the rides looked run-down and poor quality. They also got rid of the Grava-Tron which was a favorite of most. Just very overpriced and poor quality. The best thing there was the food and a small amount of the stands. Would only recommend going there just for a day off just to eat and hang out, maybe see...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area as well as accommodating. I would definitely go again. The showers are ADA friendly and brand new. I like the fact that the shower and the toilet are in a single room and they also have a larger bathroom area with stalls in the same building. They have a dump station and fresh water for campers and electric power for my RV. The sites are flat and there's even a front row for the arena festivities if there is something going on. I found the facilities clean and easy to find.plus it's close to the ferry. And the beautiful and peaceful city of Langley. The town is within walking distance as are many ships and places to eat. Also there is a marina and a boat launch not far from the sites. All in all it's a great deal and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a wonderful fair,a real old fashioned type fair that hasn't stopped being a place to enjoy with family and friends. Many other local fairs have gotten so commercial, that people don't see all the wonderment of what others have created and are doing. The grounds are laid out in a way that one can enjoy all aspects of the fair, without getting exhausted from having to "hike" all over. Lot's of great food and entertainment make it extra fun. I would like to see the schedule and admission prices posted on the Whidbey Island fair website, and that is one of the only changes I would like to see made, other than more adult art and craft entries that is. This fair is truly one not to miss! I certainly...
