First time on Whidbey island and decided to try this place as it had high praise. At first, can be a little confusing to get to because it's a food truck behind a brewery, but once you enter and go to the back, you can find it easily. The people were very friendly and patient while we looked at the menu. I got the loco moco with some baked beans and I have to say, while the loco moco was good, those were some extremely good baked beans. Flavor of those beans were really good and enjoyed sharing them with my girlfriend. Back to the loco moco. The meat was cooked well. Everything within the dish was delicious and mixed well together. Overall, if you're wanting to try someplace new and are on Whidbey island, this is a spot I'd say you should visit :). There's good food, live performances happening, and you're close to the water if you decide not to sit and walk around!

We went here even after hearing some negative reviews from some locals just to give things a shot. They had a special today of Halibut and chips so I tried that over the cod. The pieces of halibut were great. It was a good chunk of fish. But I thought the fries tasted horrible and the breading on the fish wasn’t anything special. I had to ask for tartar sauce and I found out why they didn’t give it out in the first place. It was simply bad. My wife had a better experience with her food. She really liked the spam musubi even though I didn’t care for it. Seating is only available if you buy a drink at the brewery, other wise you would have to eat elsewhere. Overall I was just left wishing I had spent the time to get into another restaurant in town. Wait would have been the same.

We've been to Langley many times but didn't know about this place until we stumbled on it this weekend. We were trying to go to Braeburn but it was too busy, so we started looking and nearby options and noticed this Polynesian food truck next door. We ordered the BBQ wings, the garlic shrimp plate, and the spam musubi. The wings were delicious and the mac salad that came with the shrimp plate was so good! The garlic shrimp is more of a Cajun style rather than the typical garlic shrimp you would find in Hawaii (think Giovanni’s) but still very good. They share a premises with Double Bluff Brewing, so you can get an ice cold beer with your meal. Love the laid back style of this place.

Like others mention, if it's your first time, you will get lost trying to find it. It's behind the brewery at the back, and it's a food truck. You either can go through the restaurant to the back, or drive around one block and enter from the back parking area.

We went on a Saturday for lunch time, there was normal of customer, but not packed and line out the door type of establishment. Like many have mentioned here, the wait time is pretty darn long. Expect 45+ min or more for your order. This is the downside of this place.

Foodwise, it's pretty good. We enjoyed everything we ate, but it wasn't life changing in anyway. Portion size was fair, and prices was fair. Since it's a food truck, they don't have a full seating available, you just have to sit anywhere there is a spot there. If you purchase a beverage or alcohol in the brewery up front, you are able to bring your food there and sit at the tables there.

Overall, the food is good, but the wait is bad. Be ready for a takeout order unless you want to purchase some drinks from the...

Ikaika Bistro offers a delightful taste of Hawaiian cuisine right in the heart of Whidbey Island. I had the pleasure of trying their loco moco and pork katsu dishes, and I must say, the flavors were absolutely mouthwatering. The loco moco was rich and satisfying, while the pork katsu was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

The location of Ikaika Bistro is unique—it's a food truck nestled in the backyard of a brewery, creating a cozy and laid-back atmosphere. This setting adds to the charm, especially when pairing their delicious food with the brewery's refreshing beers.

I found the prices at Ikaika Bistro to be quite reasonable, ranging from $15 to $20 for generous servings of the loco moco and katsu dishes. The portion sizes were substantial, ensuring you get great value for your money.

If you're craving authentic Hawaiian flavors paired with a casual dining experience, Ikaika Bistro is definitely worth a visit. Whether you're a local or a visitor to Whidbey Island, you're in for a treat with their...

My husband and I were famished after moving into our new home and decided to picked up some dinner from Ikaika. It took me a while to order because there were so many amazing options on the menu! Finally decided on the mixed plate and was SO glad I did. The chicken and pork were both outstanding and the portions were quite generous. It also came with a side of the best baked beans I’ve ever eaten, a huge portion of rice, and I chose the slaw (very good). I had enough for dinner and lunch the next day! They’ve also got a dine in option (we were just so pooped from loving that we wanted to go home) that’s cozy and warm and a foosball table! It was fun to play a game while we waited for our food and smelled the amazing smells from the meat smoker they had going outside. The folks who run the place were so welcoming and definitely live up to that spirit of ohana. Finding them can be a bit of a trick after the sun has set… just turn in at the Legion Hall along 525 in Bayview. Can’t wait...
