My buddy and I read the subpar reviews and proceeded to stay the night here anyway which means the only people we have to blame for our bad experience was ourselves. I’ll start by saying the staff was nice, but that’s about where the niceness ended. First of all, the hotel itself is situated in what seems to be a not-so-safe part of town. We were passing through so we didn’t know this until riding in. That does not exactly put travelers at ease so I’d recommend maybe rolling through and paying for a nicer location. Secondly, the room itself was not clean. It gives the appearance of cleanliness when you first walk in because the beds are made and towels folded, but upon closer inspection we were left wondering if those towels and sheets had been cleaned at all. The towels, sheets and toilet all had hairs that looked way too much like the hairs you’d find in the middle regions of your body. I’ll attach a picture of the washcloth which demonstrates this. The towels and sheets did not have a clean smell, but instead a faint musty smell. It could have been worse which is why I’m giving it two stars and for the sake of using the sandwich method I’ll end with a compliment to the chef because the breakfast was good. But I still can’t recommend staying here unfortunately.

I recently had stayed in a comfort inn in a different state and really liked it, so I booked here. I have NO IDEA how there's people leaving good reviews for this place!! This entire building really should be condemned. When you walk down the hall on the 2nd floor it feels like the floor is going to cave in. The entire room reeks of mold and feels wet. The sheets feel wet. The moldy stench made my sinuses hurt. More than one night here might actually hurt someone!! The walls are scraped up, missing paint all over. It's so trashy. The bed felt really old- like the springs are giving out. I paid a hundred dollars for this? The guy at the front desk was also very non-personable. No pleasantries- just "sign here, put your credit card in, the elevator is that way." Then, looking for my room- the room numbers aren't even in order? I'd expect to pay no more than 40 bucks for this type of slum. If I wasn't a woman traveling alone and felt more bold- I would have complained and asked for a refund. I was too afraid because of the front desk guy's curt manner. I'll just make sure to never go back.

A let down from last time there a year ago. After staying at another Country Inn in Clarksville TN, this was not much of an improvement. TV had the same issues, and complaint to desk, the same result… “the Manager doesn’t care enough to fix it”. If I had employees like that I’d fire them, but at least they’re Honest with the clientele. Definitely will no longer stay at a Country Inn or Choice Hotel chain any more. Just hot eggs and bad waffles is only hot breakfast. My own fault for not staying at a Marriott or Hampton Inn.

orst hotel ever! August 27, 2022 was a nightmare thanks to the 3rd shift person at this hotel! The first few things, I tried to forget, but the last incident has no excuse! I checked in to find my door jarred open. I went back to the desk and was told it was the only room available on the first floor, so I lived with it. Traveling alone with a dog, so security is important. Next, I went to get ice and found mold in the ice bucket and lid. Took it back to the front desk and was handed a new one with the comment "hope this one works." Again, I moved on. I asked the young lady at the desk for restaurants within walking distance. She sent me to one that had closed in 2021. Again, I moved on. Just staying here as I travel cross county. I woke up at 330 am to continue my trip and as I walked my dog through the lobby, there was no one at the desk. I took the dog out for a potty break and when I returned to my room, the key wouldn't work. I went back to the desk and still, no one was there. I started saying "hello, hello, is anyone back there?" Still, no one was around. I then took my dog to the car and went back to the hotel and started knocking on the back office door. At this point, I had been awake for 45 minutes and was 15 minutes behind on leaving Lincoln for my next destination. Still, no one was at the desk. I started to raise my voice and bang on the back office door. I then started walking around the first floor looking for someone, anyone. Mind you, its the middle of the night at an interstate property, so I was starting to be concerned. My phone was in the room. I attempted to use the front desk phone to call the police since it could have been possible that something happened to the 3rd shift employee. FINALLY, a man with glasses emerged from the back office and you could see he had been sleeping. I was frantic and stated what had been going on. He actually said he had only been gone for a few minutes which is a lie. He also said my key was from a different Comfort Inn. I explained that I was given 2 keys at check in and this was one of them. To be honest, even if I had a key from a Hilton, someone should have been at the front desk. This is a requirement for all brands or at least a note stating that someone will be right back, maybe a bell?? Not sure, but for over 45 minutes, there was no coverage at the front desk of this hotel. This is the point that I asked for some sort of discount for what I had just experienced and that if he couldn't help me, I would be calling Choice's Customer Service Department. The man said he was checking me out with no charges. I was now 40 minutes late for my trip, I was crying and very upset. I gathered my things and put them in my car and turned in my keys. I didn't receive an email folio of charges and the authorization fell off my card, so I believed the man and then, on September 1st, the charge appeared on my card. I called the hotel and left a message for someone to call me back, but they never did, so I've called Choice directly in regards to the $131.97 charge that I was told would be waived due to the 3rd shift man with round glasses not doing his job and creating a possible security issue and for ruining my stay. The other things were little, but I should have known that if a place is managed this poorly, that more things would happen. Avoid this hotel; especially if you plan to leave in the middle of the night. Hopefully, the corporate office will help me, or I'll be calling AMEX. Never in all of my years of travel has something like this happened. I wouldn't have even given this place one star, but you have to rate...

Before I start with my review of this exact hotel I'd like to say that, I am a platinum member of choice rewards and a diamond member of Wyndham. I stayed at this exact comfort inn and suites just a few days. The only reason I have given this location any stars is due to the price and the service I received from their employees (shout out matt who made no excuses and tried to make the best of the situation) . Check in was great (again matt) but upon entering my room I went to turn down the air and when i turned around i saw a bloody bandaid on the floor right next to the bed. Clearly obvious was the bandaid to the point it caused me to to do a full check of the room (this is coming from someone who has worked on the road for sometime and has stayed in a lot of subpar places). Along with the bandaid upon pulling the top covers back it was quite obvious that atleast the bottom sheet had not been changed in atleast a little while since there were clearly what looked like sweat stains on it along with half of the pillow cases. Not to mention some type of dry wall deterioration above the wall mounted ac unit (this did not bother me to much because I did not see any type of black mold and again I'm adept at staying at subpar places but can only except so much). I went down to the front desk and spoke with matt who promptly gave me a new room. Once I entered the new room there was an obvious pungent oder that crossed between nail polish remover and fresh paint. At this time it was now 6pm and after driving for 21 hrs and being awake for almost 30 hrs I was willing to except the situation due to the fact that the new bed seemed clean. I have looked up other reviews from patrons that have recently reviewed this hotel as well and it seems to be a consistent trend. As much as I enjoy the choice hotel brand this has caused me to check reviews of their hotels in areas I have not previosly frequented before I make a...

We had been traveling from our winter home to our summer home in ND. We were pulling a trailer and had traveled for about 9 hours when we arrived to this very disappointing stay. We often stay in Choice Hotel properties and this was the poorest stay for many years. The parking lot was difficult to navigate with a trailer as it had only one way in and out and very little space to turn around. We were exhausted from our drive and I had to wait for about 15 minutes waiting to check in as the desk staff attempted to try and help two young gentleman who were looking to find an extended stay hotel and had no intention of being a guest at this hotel. After these gentleman left he assisted another guest who had arrived there while I was standing and waiting and wanted change for vending machines. When I finally did get checked in we were assigned a room on the second floor at the far end of the hall. Why? There were hardly any guests. The hotel was badly in need of updates and could have been cleaner. The door to our room did not close well so I always had to check to see if the door latched. The room was adequate. Temperature was good and easy regulate. Water was hot for shower if you turned it to the highest setting and there were enough towels. Our room was clean and bedding was comfortable. It was easy to reach this hotel from the Interstate. It is located in an area where there is a cluster of hotels but the entire area is run down and not kept up very well. There are few places to eat in the immediate area so we had to settle for McDonalds which was within walking distance, but had to take our bag to our room as their dining room closed at 7 and we got there at 7:08 pm. The price was reasonable for the room, but as I mentioned in the title you get what you pay for. We will look for other accommodations when we pass through...
