The Most Disgusting Hotel Experience Ever
From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with a wave of stale, humid air and an odd, sour smell. There is no receptionist to greet you—just a row of tacky slot machines and a long wait for an employee with a thick accent to eventually check you in. And don’t waste your time checking in online; they’ll redo the entire process once you arrive.
The Room: Somehow, it was even worse. The air was suffocating, reeking of old urinal cakes. The carpet was filthy, hair was stuck under the blanket, a greasy film coated the bathroom counters, and the walls were stained with who-knows-what. It felt less like a hotel room and more like a neglected gas station bathroom with a bed shoved inside.
Because it was Husker home game weekend, switching rooms wasn’t even an option. Instead, we had to spend $100 at Walmart on new sheets, blankets, towels, cleaning supplies, and air fresheners just to make the room bearable enough to sleep in.
Bottom line: Do not stay here. It’s dirty, smelly, and downright unsafe. No hotel should require you to completely disinfect the room yourself. There are plenty of places to stay in town—this one should not even be in business.

Read moreWhile the check in person was friendly & beds were comfortable & we were just passing through for the night; this hotel's standard of cleanliness is poor! The hallways were obviously in need of cleaning with dust & debris littering the carpet; the hallway carpet felt spongy & could possibly be a trip hazard for those with balance issues; & the dominating fragrance of air freshner/cologne was quite prominent - to, maybe mask other smells? ||In the breakfast room the following morning, juice machine was not working, the room was not being kept clean, & fare was just ok. The morning desk attendant looked like he'd just rolled out of bed & landed at the front desk; unkempt & unprofessional.||If there's a next time passing thru we will choose another hotel even though this one was on the cheaper side going thru a 3rd...
Read moreThere were no more than two employees that I saw the entire stay, neither of which were in any kind of indentifiable uniform making customer service impossible. The room key I was given did not work so I had to rely solely on the spare. The air conditioning did not work, making the room sweltering and there were hardly enough towels to accommodate my family (note that there was no employee to get help from). The whole hotel had stains all over and there was constant beeping from carbon monoxide and/or smoke alarms (employee said they were some sort of proximity alarm?). The breakfast had nothing but average waffles and dry breads. The juice provided was nothing but water with particles in it. Would not recommend unless...
