This place is a horrible excuse for anyone to stay at! Where to start?? Well, we arrived at the Motel to spend one night in Lincoln Nebraska while passing through. We looked online and this place had “decent” reviews. My only guess is that it’s own employees must be doing the reviews! Anyway, we arrive. The place looks clean and very well up-kept from the front of the building. The entry way, lobby area and front desk pristine! It’s once you hit the elevators you begin to realize this place is a nightmare! The elevators were dated, not a big deal, the bumpy ride and how small they were, kinda scary. So we arrive on the 2nd floor. Most of the lighting fixtures were broken. At least five or six were literally just hanging there. Some had covers, others didn’t, some had bulbs literally just hanging there and not even working. That’s just the beginning. So we enter our room.. the floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in YEARS. We have an infant who likes to crawl around and the floor was absolutely appalling to allow her on. There were huge stains along the bed side. It looked like someone puked all over the floor with there head hanging off of the bed. The carpeting was tearing at the seams! (I have pictures to prove my points!) Our smoke detector was in the drawer under the television. You would think they would re-hang it back up. However, the entire 2nd floor smelled of cigarette smoke, mind you, the hotel is “smoke free.” Yeahhhh right. It was late in the evening and we really didn’t wanna find a new place to stay, so we decided to just spend the night. Once I was trying to get our things out of our luggage I went into the bathroom to put up my deodorant and such. I noticed we had no towels in the bathroom, and no shampoo. So my husband went down stairs to ask the front desk for towels. While he was down there he told the front desk lady about our smoke detector and her response “yeah sometimes people pull them down.” What the heck kind of response is that!?! He then asked about the shampoo we were missing. Her reply “Yeah we are out, you have to buy some from behind the counter.” Now why the heck am I paying to stay there to pay for shampoo?? This place is a big heap of poopie! If I could give it negative stars I sure would! Needless to say, for the trip back we canceled our reservation there, and decided to stay at the LaQuinta. I would highly recommend you avoid this place...
Read moreStay was 12/3-12/5. The first night, 117 had a sliding glass door that wouldn't close all the way when latched, and was causing a draft, so we moved to 119. 119 had a toilet that over flowed multiple times, and we saw a roach as well. We were then moved to 123 and that room's bathroom sink would leak when the faucet was running and there was a silverfish in the tub. The last room 301 was fine for the most part, but it was missing blankets on both of the beds, but since we didn't move into that room until late at night, and we had to leave early, we just used blankets we had from the car. One of the two nights was refunded after the second room, 119, was found to have deficiencies, and we had two more rooms after that had maintenance issues and missing amenities, so i asked for the second night free as well, but the manager said that one night was all she could do. And when i called back today to attempt to resolve the issue, iris, she said that one night was still all she could refund, and said because i said the heat in the room was comfortable, and i didn't reach out to the front desk to obtain the blankets, no additional compensation was warranted. Being that we already had had to deal with multiple Issues in multiple other rooms, having to ask for an amenity that should've already been in the room Shouldn't be the guest's responsibility, And certainly shouldn't disqualify them from recompense. We notified the manager at check out that the blankets weren't there, and there was no Dispute that they weren't. She simply said that the housekeepers must've forgotten. I made this complaint with Motel 6 guest Relations on Thursday of last week (12/7) and I have yet to hear a response from anyone from their establishment regarding the complaint. Friendly staff, but management refusing to budge on a refund of 64.87 after that many issues is unfortunate. ...
Read moreThere were so many reasons why it was bad but I will sum them up. I first arrived I was met by a lady at the counter who woulda gave Stalin a run for his money in the rudeness department! While heading to my room I could not hear as coming from one of the rooms was very loud intense music that persisted until 2 A.M the first night and continued the next night after I later found out it was some workers renovating a room while apparently throwing a Puff Daddy concert. Also in the hallway was a pair of mattresses leaning up against the wall with piss stains the size of the Great Lakes. I get it’s a hotel and accidents happen but cleanliness was not on the top 100 concerns for this place! As I entered the room I noticed barely any accommodations only a small tv and two towels in the bathroom. I was on the ground floor so my room had a sliding door to the outside which at first glance was convenient but then I realized it had no locking mechanism and could be opened from the outside at any time. My stay was for multiple days and a maid NEVER came to clean or make the bed at all. I stand by the statement I never saw another hotel guest while I was there until the morning I left. He was ahead in line for checkout and the front desk lady was apologizing profusely and saying they will issue a refund so I was not the only one that week that had issues with the facility. Overall if I have to travel back to that area I would / will pay double the price to get a better hotel because this one was just a plain...
