Pleasure Point Inn — Hotel in Live Oak

Terrible experience here. There is a new owner Diane Detig. It is no longer a B & B that others reviewed so highly. The Dolphin room was dirty, dusty & cluttered with stuffed animals. The ceiling fan was disgusting. There was an old dried up used bar of soap in the shower. No clean soap. The coffee area was not stocked. On top of all of this, we had to leave suddenly because my husband's father passed away. Diane refused to give us any refund and she is difficult to reach. She did not return one phone call. So, we had to pay $654 to stay one night in this horrible room. You have other choices, DO...

I haven't actually stayed here but I have spent time on the premises doing work for the proprietor. Her enthusiasm can be a bit overwhelming but once you get accustomed to it , will appreciate it. Location is ideal for ocean views...

Good for amatuer surfers as it has low tides and less people but sometimes it gets messy with plants coming your way...
