Miches and Ceviches — Restaurant in California

I discovered this wonderful gem of a restaurant today using Google Maps to find a lunch spot along my bike ride path. I'm so glad I stopped in. Sergio and Perla, the owners, were so delightful and helpful. I was torn between the tostada de ceviche de pescado con mango and the taco de camaron, the two most popular dishes, according to Sergio. I chose the tostada because I don't have ceviche very often. It was great and had a very generous portion of fresh, brightly flavored ceviche topped with sliced avocado. I'm really enjoying eating the tostada when Sergio brought out a complementary shrimp taco, saying, "You gotta try the taco." Oh, so good!! They are rightly proud of their food.

I can't wait to come back with my wife so that we can share a ceviche tostada and a 3-taco plate. The fate of the third taco will test the quality of...

Amazing food and nice people, a great combination for success! I was visiting Santa Cruz for the day, and because I had seen this place one time passing by, and it had such great reviews, we decided to go. We ordered our food to go and sat on the picnic table at the end of the street, right by the beach. I'm vegetarian, and got the tacos without the fish. I couldn't believe how tasty these were. They were juicy, but crispy, and all the flavors combined were just delicious. I got the strawberry água fresca and it was by far, the best I've ever had. I was with family, and they ordered the tacos and the ceviche, and they loved everything as much as I did. They tried my água fresca and on our way back to the car we had to go back to get some for them as well, and to tell the owners how much we had loved everything....

Excellent new seafood dining addition to Pleasure Point. Family run that offers Extra special customer service. Ultra-fresh & made to order menu. I ordered ceviche & shrimp tacos. Super fresh & delicious. The ceviche had a great balance of tangy, lime & just enough spice kick. Shrimp tacos were delish! Didn’t get the chance to try the “Miches” but will be a regular spot to stop in the area. Restaurant Also offers delivery. Small seating area inside & outside seating is available for larger parties.

The restaurant is in an excellent location a few blocks from the beach & famous Pleasure Point Surfer Spot…surrounded by other great local businesses.
