Went here for my Birthday. Decent atmosphere. The service was not great. The pasta lobster dish called Bucatini All'Astice was only mediocre, but way over priced for the portion of food you actually get. I mean pasta is literally one of the cheapest foods to make or buy which is how many poor Italians survived during the depression. I was still hungry after eating a $39 bowl of spaghetti. Adding a bit more pasta would cost you nothing for what you're charging. My roommate ordered the boneless rib eye called Tagliata for like $47 and asked for it to be cooked medium and this small pitiful piece of meat on the plate with no sides or anything came out cooked medium well.

I asked the server for some Parmigiano cheese for my pasta, as he was zipping by (never bothered to ask how everything was), which I know is a sin if there's fish in the sauce, but that's how I like it. And well, he never came back as I'm sitting there waiting and watching my small pasta dish get cold. I saw a young lady clearing tables and asked her for some grated cheese and she returned a couple mins later with it. As a fellow Italiano, I was VERY disappointed in the quality of food, portion and the service. I had pretty high expectations thinking this would be a real authentic Italian ristorante. Probably way more options with scenic views in Santa Monica on 2nd St. that have better food for about...

The mall dining terrace area is very nice and peaceful, we enjoyed walking around and eating lunch there. Several of the food courts had closed- apparently they didn’t make it through the pandemic shutdown, unfortunately. We did stop at 85^c for sweets after lunch. We purchased the two items below. Overall they were ok, it’s just, we were looking for sweets; you know, to satisfy that sweet tooth. The outcome is they both were moistšŸ‘, they both were eye catching šŸ‘, and they both were not that sweet- almost bland šŸ‘Žwhich made these not the best choices for us. My suggestion is to inquire what pastries taste like on a sweetness level before buying so there’s no surprises when...

Nice place but the outside seating is always busy. I always have to wait for a table to sit and eat. I wish they would expand the outside seating area where there is nothing but walk-way. That would def allow more people to sit outside and eat while staying 6+ feet away. Add more tables and spread them out. They had an inside area as well as the outside area but due to covid they closed the inside but didnt expand the outside any. So now they are cramming guests from 3 times the seating down to the outside 1/3 area. Expanding the outside seating only...

About half of the places for food counters are empty. There is a lot of turnover. The food they have is good, but there are not many vegetarian/ vegan options. It looks like more places are expected to open up soon the space to eat in is nice. There is a large bathroom and a family bathroom.
