First time we came here we waited a long time and the food was underwhelming, but it was late in the day, maybe they were understaffed or whatever, not a big deal. Today we decided to give it another chance, again we came later in the day though so I’m wondering if that explains the mostly positive reviews - maybe it’s good during the day but we’re probably not going to spend another $40 to find out. We ordered the Remix bowl with no feta or corn. We got a dry, half-full bowl with 2 cold extra dry and crunchy falafels (one of them tasting wrong) and one fried-all-the-way-through falafel rock that crumbled when I finally broke it open, plain quinoa (supposed to be tahini-dill quinoa), plain carrots/cabbage (supposed to be a slaw) and bland chickpeas that were practically plain. The dressing it was supposed to come with would’ve made the plain tomatoes and cucumbers good, but there was no dressing or sauce. It’s just crazy that this is a $14 meal and it’s made up of a generously estimated a 2 dollars? worth of vegetables, olives, quinoa and chickpeas. All that to say it was technically edible (except for maybe the falafel rock) but that’s all I can say for it, and I didn’t eat it. We ordered the vegan wrap, this was better than the bowl but also contained a sad falafel rock and two dry falafel. Also it’s the cheaper option but ended up being bigger than the bowl. It at least had dressing and hummus. The best part of the whole order ended up being the flatbread they used to contain the wrap, which ironically is most likely the one component they just buy and use out of a bag.

Always fresh and delicious. Never disappoint. Everytime I find myself near by I make sure to stop. The street cart fries are amazing! Lemon water is fresh and they have cups right beside it for your comfort. We found a 6 chair table which fit our group well. The inside is somewhat small and it was too cold to eat outside. Plus we had a newborn in car seat with us. So it was nice to find an empty table. Cashier from Wisconsin was courteous and friendly even asking how our evening was going. Enjoyed the games as we waited for our meal and kids were entertained with the jinga.

Quirky, clean theme. Large portions 👍 Game nights on Tuesday after 7pm like Jenga, uno, connect 4, and various other games. Really small interior with 2 tables. Really small parking availability. Generous outdoor space, but cold in the evenings. I know 5hey do have outdoor heaters so may want to ask the staff to turn them on to enjoy the outdoor space more. Great location, have passed by the Hollywood/ Los Feliz on several occasions. I'd personally choose the beef/ lamb over the chicken with anything you try.

I would not go here unless you wanna get sick. The young kid they hired at the register was sniffling and touching his nose with his hands, and he was all congested and definitely was sick But that’s not the worst of it. Whoever hired this guy needs to be fired immediately because they obviously have no clue or common sense. I walk in and none of the three employees even acknowledge me, which was the case last time but at least when they came to the register, they said how can I help you. This time the same thing when I walked in, nobody acknowledged me no one said hello. When the guy came up to the register, who was sick he did not say anything. He did not even look at me. He kept looking to the side like I was bothering him or interrupting him from doing his job. I’m sorry the restaurant is interfering with your personal conversation. Then I ordered a plate and he said what kind of meat and when I responded what kind of meat do you have? He just pointed at the menu and then looked away again and stood there. I did not even have the energy to say one word to him and waste my time. I just turned around and walked out And left right away without saying a word. I went down the street and bought a better sandwich with...

I have been to Spitz several times since 2013 - the food there is consistently fresh and tasty, though sometimes I have found the falafel to be a little bit too salty for my taste.

They used to serve ice cream (gelato) there, but they stopped doing that maybe 1 1/2 to 2 years ago if I recall correctly, I guess there wasn't enough margin in it or something.

The restaurant is a nice place, well lit and with the option to sit outside, there are umbrellas and heat lamps, so you're covered as far as the weather goes. They also have some board games that you can play while you're waiting. Typically they serve food pretty quickly, so you don't have that long of a wait, but who doesn't love an impromptu game of Connect-4?

I like the french fries there - they're especially good with the garlic aioli sauce/dip. They have sweet potato fries as well, which people seem to like.

Overall the food is good and consistent and the prices are reasonable. Parking is difficult because they only have a few spots in their lot, though there is the option of street parking. The staff is...
