Tea N’ Me — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Confused on how to write this. This place is across the street from Boba time, so i wanted to support the new spot. Here is where things get confusing. Have given this place 4 try's and each time the drinks were good enough to keep me coming back but every time I went the people working seemed bothered that I came in. Other customers said they had similar experiences. On top of this I noticed 2 other reviews that caught my attention. 1 about this place originally did not want to wear masks during this pandemic and a second one where they ordered 20 one gallon milks via instacart and did not tip the driver but expect you to tip them when you order.

If you made it this far the overall area looks nice and seem like it would be a cool hang out spot pre covid. Again their drinks are good but can't really say they are that much better than...

The boba was amazing, as was the tea and the flavors. We got passion fruit green tea, and wintermelon and jasmine milk tea slushes. The slushes were very good, and the passion fruit green tea was perfect. Their boba is perfectly chewy, not too soft, and doesn’t get gross and hard after it’s been cold for a while. The store itself is cute and the workers are very nice. They have comfy couches as well as desks for studying. The only downside was that there was a man there who was really creepy - he stayed the entire time we did (over an hour), and stared at us a lot (I don’t think he worked there, though). Aside from that, great place with great drinks! The prices are also really good considering how expensive boba is getting. Definitely don’t forget to check in on yelp or facebook to get a free...

Very fast service, by the time u finish ordering your drink is ready lmao. Pretty big portions for a regular size. A worthy competitor to Boba Time across the street for sure. My favorite option is the jasmine green milk tea. (Edit: forgot to say 1 complaint I have... this kinda bothers me but my drinks both times I came have had like shredded small ice chunks instead of just normal ice cubes. So when you sip on your boba near the end they all go up the straw and that's just something that's very annoying. I wish they would just use normal ice instead of shredded.
