Food has MOLD, eat at your own risk
I used to come here regularly, my girlfriend loved the food here; the filipino spaghetti was authentic and actually tasted like it was from the philippines, unlike other places. Unfortunately, there was mold in the spagghetti on three seperate occasions (one on February 4, 2022, another on February 22, 2022) leading me to going to other places for breakfast.
My girlfriend missed the spagghetti, so eventually we came back and I had to check all of my orders for mold. Now, within a few months, the employees, although kind, give me the incorrect sauce (ketchup) instead of the sweet chili (customary for fishballs). Sometimes I am not given suka (vinegar) with the orders of tapa and longonisa and dont find out till I get home after picking up after work. I called to complain, no results. I came the next time, complained in person and brought up the mold, and then an employee told me that I have to "check the order before I go [for the sauce]".
**Instead of Bulacan Bakeshop, I recommend going to Bagnet Restaurant in Glendale, which is less than 10 minutes away. Their ulam/entrees are also great and their service is much better. Bagnet has better Bangus and Tocino, and they usually offer coffee while you wait, and unlimited melon for dine ins (you have to buy one order of melon,...
Read moreWARNING. DO NOT patronize this bakery. The sales people are very rude...ridiculously rude. When I walked in I asked for empanadas. From the service door the sales woman yelled we have chicken or beef. I asked if they were $1 (because I saw the price online). She yelled NO, THEY ARE NOT $1 and walked away from me into the back room. I stood there bewildered. She came back a few minutes later and I said I could have mistaken the price for another bakery. She rudely yelled they are $1.75 each and then said she is out of them because they are very busy (nobody in the store). I said I don't want to do business with a rude establishment like this and walked out. I tried calling the store and it was as if I was calling a toddler who yells repeated hello's and doesn't know how to answer the phone. They did not take my call. I called back again, after 10 attempts, and a man answered and I attempted to tell him what happened. He rudely said we are too busy and hung up. Stay away from this place. I will go to another place who will service me...
Read moreI love absolutely love this Filipino bakery!!! The food is affordable, they give you a very good amount of food and it's delicious as well!!! All make it worth going here. But my absolutely favorite thing about this bakery is it makes hopia everyday fresh!!! I buy the Uber hopia which is my favorite and sometimes I buy the baby too! But this place makes amazing baked goods, but they also have Filipino breakfasts all day and other Filipino food and all of it is delicious! Go in and try anything, you won't regret it! I just finished all the hopia I bought the last time I was there. And I brought for my co-workers at the hospital I work at. And they all loved them too! Can't wait to go back and buy more...
