David's Interiors — Hotel in Lower Paxton Township

We have done significant business with David's over the years, but my most recent experience with them and their salesperson, Cerise, was unprofessional. First she called us and told us our purchased sofa had arrived and we thus arranged to give the sofa to a friend. She called back the next day to tell us it was a mistake and the sofa had not arrived. We then had to undo the gift. Next we bought a Stickley recliner from them four years ago and the fabric began to tear and wear badly, which should not be the case considering the high price we paid for the piece. Cerise agreed to contact Stickley to determine if they would correct the issue even though Stickley's warranty on fabric is only 2 years. It took Stickley well over a month to get back to Cerise who told me that Stickley would not replace the chair, but agreed to pay to upholster the chair (which costs nearly $2,000). I thought that was a fair resolution. She said she needed to get some documentation approved by Stickley and would get back to me when that was received. She got back to me, but said Stickley would only pay $500 towards the the upholstery. We had the pleasure of working with Sharon at David’s Furniture for the last 6 months. What started out with a phone call inquiring about how we could work together during Covid ended up with Sharon helping us select all of our furniture for our new shore house. She listened to what our vision was and helped us create our dream home. The selections in the store provided everything we needed and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the quality once it was delivered. Corinne and Sharon helped finish the house with our window treatments, which are beautiful. My experience was excellent from start to finish. I walked into the store on Linglestown Road on a whim. I was greeted by Rae, salesperson. She was friendly and knowledgeable of inventory, with an excellent flair for style and coordinating colors. I was able to make a Loveseat selection in a style and color that blended with my existing room furnishings. David's protection plan benefits the customer by protecting the product and my purse. If the plan is not used, your money is returned as a store credit. Love it! Finally, the deliveryservice respected my property both inside and out. The truck was parked at the beginning of my driveway as to not damage my overhang of limbs.
