Furniture Connextion — Hotel in Marana

The only reason I'm giving it 1 star is because the furniture is beautiful and the deliverymen were nice. We went in May for the sale that they were having. We ordered the Oak Park Set. We were told if we made payments it would not be ordered until the final payment was made, however, if I pay it in full with cash it would be ordered immediately. We were moving and wanted it to arrive the day before the movers did, so I paid cash and told David that we had a CA King bed. He said it would need to be special ordered from their warehouse in CA and that it would take 2-3 weeks to receive. David called me about 2 weeks later and we made arrangements for delivery to the new house. It was to be delivered on a Tuesday. Monday someone was supposed to call me to confirm delivery time. No one called, so I called them and asked the person I spoke to, to verify that it was indeed a California king bed. He said yes that it was. It was delivered the next day, however, something looked off. When I mentioned CA King, the delivery man started taking pictures of the bed. I asked why he was doing that and he said it was just routine. The next day, the movers said that they delivered a standard king ,not a CA King because they could not get the bed into the frame. The movers were able to move the frame up against the wall and put our bed on its old frame. I had to wait til the next day to call because of the movers bringing items in. I told David what happened and his solution was to leave it the way it was until they could figure out what happened and order a new one. That was not going to happen. I made them send the guys back out and disassemble the bed and take away the wrong frame and rails, and leans the head and floorboards up against the wall. I had to keep calling to find out what happened and when I was going to get my bed. He finally told me that someone, either in their store or the warehouse forgot to put the c on the end of the order number to indicate CA King. That it would take another 3 weeks to get the correct bed, which would put it at the end of July. He told my husband and I that we would be compensated for the long delay. In July David called and said that there was a delay and that the bed would not arrive until the end of August.That the rails were made in China. I told him I wanted the media stand as the compensation. David said that would not be a problem. The bed finally arrived August 25th, 3 months after I paid cash for a quick delivery. I called David to let him know it finally arrived and when was I going to get the media cabinet as per our agreement for the compensation for waiting so long for my bed. He stated I lied about him saying I'd receive compensation and that I lied about the original screw up. How could I lie about it when he was the one who told me about it. I told him the furniture was beautiful but the service was horrible and I would not recommend that anyone go there to get furniture. I would recommend the place across the street. Our experience with this place has been anything but pleasant. We ordered our bedroom set on August 23rd. Here we are November 5th and still are waiting on for our furniture with no definitive arrival date. In our set we purchased a dresser, 2 nightstands, and a kind bed. The nightstands we took home that night since they were on site at the warehouse. We were given our receipt and told to expect 3-5 weeks till our other items arrived (bed frame & dresser). On the receipt we were given & repeated by our salesperson David these items had already been ordered for warehouse inventory to have on hand. Fast forward to 5 weeks and no one bothered to call to say our order was not in and now on back order. My husband and myself called countless times to get an update but all we were told was the same answer “We don’t know we are waiting on the manufacturer.” Fast forward to October and after calling numerous times to get an update and asking for call backs we finally received our bed frame at the end of October. When we spoke to David then we were still waiting for the dresser and was told it needed to be unloaded from truck and he was going to give us a call with an updated date. Here we are on the 5th and was just relayed that the manufacturer is now “expecting” the dresser by the 19th of November. An additional month out from last time we spoke in October stating they were waiting for it to be unloaded from truck. I under stand things happen but during all of this the customer service was terrible. Communication was very poor to say the least. A supervisor was asked for on several occasions and was told they were busy. When stating we would wait on hold for one we were hung up on. I was looking for a loveseat with a exact configuration of power reclining and middle console, on a chance I stepped into furniture conextions and i am so glad i did, my experience couldn't be more positive if i dream it up. David Swierczewski was very informative and knowledgeable about the piece i choose, at first i was going to change the fabric cover to different color there was good selection and I found exact fabric i was looking for however after thinking things through at home i come back few days later with a decision to buy what's ready and available, David recognized and greated me by the name right from the moment I walked into the store. It was a pleasure to work with him and couple days later I had the loveseat at my home, the delivery happend exactly as I was promised it will I was notified a day before about the two hours time frame of delivery and about 30 minutes before arriving i got a call they are on their way and they were promptly here they carried the loveseat into my home to the exact space I pointed and set it up connected the electric motor operating the recliner and checked the function I couldn't be more happy. it's all I needed, very comfortable and looking great in my space.
