First, I’ll tell you the positive things. All the employees there are very nice and very helpful Problems are taken care of quickly and an apology is given without even thinking twice. ( very much appreciated the gentleman that got us a new room right away) 3.The first floor of the hotel was very clean. I love that the pool is open 24 hours a day
Unfortunately there are Negative things also. The key for the doors was a pain to use everytime we needed in our room. We talked to a handful of other people staying there and they all had trouble with their keys also. Maybe update them or need new ones. Not sure why they don’t work easily. Maybe even add an app to use to unlock your door with your phone. I have stayed at a hotel that did that before. There was nothing at all in the pool room for the kids to play with. We have stayed in several other hotels and there is almost always pool noodles and miscellaneous things to use in the pool. Friday it was extremely hot in there. Could hardly breathe. Saturday it was better. Also disappointed with the breakfast Saturday. We went down around 8:30 and there was hardly anything to pick from. There were no eggs at all the whole time we were down there, nor did we see anyone taking care of filling anything else. Maybe someone called off, I’m not sure. Saturday was much better. For the price that we pay to stay there it would have been nice to have more fruit even if it was just bananas. There were apples. I don’t know a lot of people that eat an apple for breakfast. But I’m sure someone does :) I’m not saying that I would never stay at your hotel again but to see any of these minor negative things get better would be really nice. I’m all about giving everyone a second chance. Have...
Read moreUpon arrival on a Saturday evening we was greeted by firetrucks in the front parking lot,(there was no fire) and was not allowed to go in. After Fire department gave the all clear to enter we checked in. The MOD on duty was somewhat stressed over the situation, but checked us in after a slight wait and was pleasant. We were told the elevator was out until the next day, since we were on the first floor, this was ok, at least for us. The following morning was breakfast time and unfortunately the Hotel dropped the ball on this. Arriving for breakfast at 8:30, we found very few breakfast items and only a few slices of bread, 3 pre-made egg omelette, no bacon and 4 cold sausage patties. The waffle iron was out of batter, but attendant made more batter, from start to finish when I finally sat down to eat 30 minutes had passed. Most, if not all of the guests were complaining about breakfast not being ready with very few choices. We were told that the truck did not deliver the items needed. Our response was the MOD should have sent someone to a local grocery store( which was across the street) to keep guests happy. We chalked it up as a loss and still had a great day. The following day, we found that the breakfast bar was fixed and fully supplied with bacon, eggs, pastries, bread, bagels, etc. It turned out to be very good. We stayed at this hotel 2 other times and still recommend it to family and friends. Rooms have always been clean and the staff is very good. Any time we have asked for anything it has been taken care of. There is an indoor pool, the only suggestion we have for the hotel, would be to limit a few hours for adults only, we have found that sometimes kids overrun the pool, and adults can't...
Read moreAfter having pleasantly stayed at this hotel once before I thought I knew what to expect. The dog friendly protocol and the hot tub were why I made my non-refundable reservation. I was looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub but it was absolutely disgusting and smelled of urine and the water had a green tinge to it. I requested the corporate number during checkout in order to discuss the lack of disclaimer or warning of the hot tubs condition. However, the new girl at the counter couldn't find it. Then within hours received 3 additional charges to my bank account from the hotel. I called to discuss the charges but was met very rudely and aggressively with whomever I spoke. She made false accusations of my group smoking in the room and then abruptly hung up on me. I work in construction and have a habit of putting cigarette butts in my pocket which I usually throw in the trash at the end of my day. Aside from what was found in the trash there was absolutely no proof or evidence of that behavior. I do not ever smoke indoors or in my home nor do I allow my crew to smoke indoors. I will continue to carry this as far as I must and will be leaving reviews on Google. As a business owner myself there is a standard of conduct I stand by within my encounters and to be rude and aggressive without provocation is unacceptable! This is not a hotel I will ever recommend unless the parties involved not only apologize but make...
