Red Roof Inn Marietta — Hotel in Marietta

I stayed in this hotel for 7+ weeks, finding a mix of good and bad which I'll summarize here. Although my backside room was quiet from traffic, it seemed to be far noisier from the guests which gravitate there. If I could give negative stars, I would.

I booked two rooms at this hotel, one for my mother and father in law and the other for my husbands grandmother so we could visit family.

room one: The fridge didn't work. My in-laws both have diabetes and need the fridge too work for their insulin. I called ahead to make sure that it was working, was told it was, and when they got there it did not work. There was no matt in the bottom of the shower, which caused them too nearly hurt themselves. On day two of the stay the key card stopped working and when brough to the owners attention he said "oh I am sorry, I had you in for one night." their reservation clearly said 3 nights. they gave them an issue with parking. There was an issue with getting clean towels. When they went down for their own clean towels they made them throw them into the laundry instead of taking it from them and gave issue. No housekeeping was done at all, was told that the stay was for too long and that it didn't qualify for housekeeping. The room smelled strongly of mold and mildew and when brought too the owners attention he refused to rectify it.

Room two: The fridge in this room worked but was leaking everywhere; owner once again refused to fix the issue. This room also had no shower matt and this caused my husbands grandmother too hurt herself and now there is a bruise on her leg (will be contacting corporate for that.) Her key card didn't work on day one, gave issue with fixing it.

These were both supposed to be handicap friendly units and they clearly were not. We were there visiting family and they dreaded having to go back to the hotel. Everything was of course non-refundable or else we would have cancelled and booked...

Nice Hotel Overall, Stay Wasn't Too Bad. Honestly Best Part Was Next To It Is A 24/7 Dennys Definitely A Must If Your Able! A Walmart That Closes At 11pm Is Connected To A Strip Of Other Stores! First Dogs Allowed, Fee Is $15 Plus, $150 Room Deposit, Also Has A Nice Field Area (Behind/Beside) The Hotel & The Laundry Matt. Guy At Front Desk Was Very Polite & Respectful, & Willing To Help Accommodate Best To His Ability. Rooms Were Decent Few Dirty (Spots/Areas) Nothing To Cause Health Risk, Or Serious Concern Other Than The Metal Handicap Rail In The Shower Has Lots Build Up Under It Looks Like It Has Not Been Notice Or Cleaned For Awhile! Other Than That No Problems Or Huge Deal. Wifi Is Good But Had A Few (Lags/Buffering) Moments Not Idle For Certain Aspects Or Needs If Work Online Don't Forget Your (VPN)! Has Small Parking Lot But Don't Need Large One Single Car Per Room, If You're On Front Side With The Road, Your Asked To Park Out By The Sign/Street Not Up...
