Upset the moment I walked in the door. The man at the front desk was not professional. Gave us our room keys and as we were getting in the car said that someone else was in the room he gave us. When we got into our “correct room” it had a horrible smoke smell, the television didn’t work causing me to call and have a maintenance person come to fix it, the air conditioning wasn’t on in the middle of July. Pretty sure this room hasn’t been occupied for several weeks. On day 5 of our stay I found a bug crawling up the wall. Tried to wash our clothes but the machine ate our money. I was told by front desk that it’s probably because the money holder is too full because it’s only emptied once a month. I was not able to charge my phone while sleeping because the only outlet available was on the lamp across the room. I’d like to say that the only good thing about this hotel was the breakfast but I’m not able to do that either. Tables to eat at were dirty, and food was not replenished in a timely manner. One morning I couldn’t even get a napkin for my 4 year old daughter. Will definitely be staying somewhere else next time we come to visit.

On a road lined with many hotel choices, this might want to be one of the last. We stayed here as we had points to use and it was "free." And we really like Baymont hotels. But as one of the workers said, "this hotel is as old as dirt," and it is dated. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and of good size. However, the bathroom was tiny and quite dated. The TV was small but offered a decent selection of channels. BUT, the bed was horrible. It had a dip in the middle where it felt as your head was lower then your feet. Okay, it is one bed in a hotel filled with beds, but it was ours. And the pillows were the standard bags of fluff. The bathroom was small and the shower/tub featured the 1930s classic of two handles for the hot and cold. It is 2023, can't we update these? Our room faced the golf course in the rear, so it was quiet and we didn't hear any noise from the hall or other rooms. The breakfast was minimal, enough to get you going, but you will be heading for the nearest restaurant. There is a great coffee place just down the street to the west.

First time at this location. They were very accommodating to my needs. I'm a travel nurse and need a 7a check in and a 5p check out. My room was away from a lot of the noise which was great as I have to sleep during the day. I was disappointed with the on site restaurant being permanently closed. That was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. There was a continental breakfast available which was pretty good. No hot foods except you can make waffles, bagels and heat up a sausage biscuit. Coffee, juice and milk available. That was a plus. My room wasn't what I expected. The wall paper was peeling off at all the seams and the ceiling spackle was coming down. My room had a lot of spider webs which creeper me out. There was even a cobweb on the back of the desk chair. The dressers were in bad shape. The toilet didn't function properly. You had to hold the handle down until the contents went down. The couch was stained or dirty. I would try to stay again but would request a better or cleaner room.

A bad experience. Upon checking in we were told of a shuttle service they had. We had used the service last year and it was very handy. So we used it again this year to get to where we needed to go with no problems. We tipped the guy. On the return ride though the guy informs us that we owed him 5 dollars a head for the trip there and the another 5 a head for the return. He hadn't mentioned money at all the trip there. Last year it was a complimentary service for staying at the hotel. I didn't care about the money but felt blindsided and taken advantage of. When we got back I talked to the manager about it and he was very rude. He just said that they didn't offer a shuttle service and it wasn't his responsibility even though it was advertised by them to every arriving customer. He refused to even listen to what I was saying. Didn't apologize for his staff giving wrong information or that I may have been ripped off. Afterword I heard him mumbling some words to a coworker. Just overall very unprofessional and a complete disregard for my feelings. So that was easily the worst experience but not the only bad thing. Internet access said full load so I couldn't use it. Toilets would barely flush, bathtub drained super slow. Breakfast was so full I couldn't even sit down. Screaming kids out at the pool. Not everything was bad though. The restaurant was passable, a little high on the prices but not bad for a hotel. Check in and out was fairly quick. Decent location. I definitely would not...

Had to make an unexpected stop and pick an affordable hotel that was safe for myself and 3 young kids. I went with Baymont and overall had a great experience. My ratings are based on the fact that it was a 60 dollar hotel room. I wasn't expecting high class or anything but bare bones honestly, and I was pleasantly surprised with the super clean and well kept room. The air conditioner took a little while to cool the room, but it did its job on a hot day. The front desk staff member was super kind and was able to find me an early check in since I was feeling so bad and was patient with me and my toddler. The fridge and microwave worked great (didn't use the coffee maker) and the basic breakfast was all we needed to get back on the road. They had a fresh waffle maker, several cereals, milk and juice, bagels, yogurt and a few prepackaged pastries along with hot coffee. There was also bottled water offered at the front desk or vending machines if you wanted a different drink/snack. The only disappointment was that the pool is closed off and seems to be in disrepair, but I didn't book the room looking for one, just noticed it after the fact and my kids showed disappointment. It looks like there used to be a restaurant inside, but it's vacant now, and there appeared to be what used to be a pretty garden out back. I think some tlc and dedicated money could really spruce the place up, but I would still recommend it to anyone needing an affordable and safe...

Where do I start with our nightmare stay at this hotel...

Upon checking in the front desk person was extremely rude because I have an Ohio ID and they don’t rent to locals. I explained I no longer live in Ohio, but 700 miles away, but couldn’t update my ID due to covid. They were still really unprofessional and rude.

I signed a paper summarizing our charges for our stay which was fine except that price didn’t match what ended up being charged to my card. Baymont put several pending charges on my card, then removed them the next day and a few days later re-added them at a different amount. There was no damage to our room and no rules broken so there shouldn’t be $40 extra charged, but whatever not worth dealing with.

Multiple guests complained of bed bugs after our second night of staying including a couple people in our party. They moved one man to another room, but that room was also infested so he ended up leaving & going somewhere else. My aunt was bit by a bedbug and even took a video of the bugs, which she showed the owner & front desk. They said they can’t issue a refund and have to call in a “pest expert” to verify it’s bed bugs that it’s a whole process & only offered to move her rooms. Another family member left their name & number with the front desk about the bed bug issue too because they said the owner doesn’t come in until morning, not knowing that we are aware he lives at the hotel. IN SUMMARY: DO...
