Tulalip Resort — Hotel in Marysville

We have attended multiple events over the years in their banquet rooms, and attend an annual event every year, for charity. while the space is gorgeous, the food and service has been going downhill.

At this years event, during setup, they "misplaced" an exspensive custom cake i donated from a bakery in seattle, it was delivered earlier in the day. once it was found, the key signature ingredient that goes on top was gone along with the box. They could not find it anywhere. When asked if their kitchen could provide a substitute, the banquet manager said the chefs were gone for the day. Yet the ingredient was there, tulalip themselves had it for their contributed cake.

Dinner was horrible, our menu consisted of steak, salmon or risotto (preselected). Hubby and i had a special order of no sauce on the steak due to allergies, and when our steak was served it was a completely different steak then everyone else. We cut into ours and it was so well done, we could barely cut it let alone chew it. One of our table guests alerted the server who came over and said all steaks are cooked well done. We pointed to our table guests steak and stated theirs are medium, can we please get steaks that are edible. He said no and that all steaks served without sauce must be cooked well done. I explained it was inedible and asked why they had to be welldone. He did not answer but, stated there was nothing else available. My husband asked for them to take our plates away and we sat there with no meals while our table guests ate dinner. Mind you this is a banquet event with 300+ guests and I paid 1200 for the table.

Then towards the end, only some tables got coffee while our areas tables got none, about 4 or 5. My guests had to go to the servers just standing there with 5 pots of coffee and ask for some.

The kicker was when the server was cutting and plating our cake we won, which was a beautiful 4 layer cake, that everyone bid on (over $1000) rather than serve the table of 8 (cake served 12) each a full slice, he cut in wedding portions, only cutting small uneven half slices from the top, leaving the remaining slices with no frosting. My table guests were in such disbelief and upset about the horrible...

I stayed at the resort on Xmas Eve and had a great time. The only issue I had in room 834 was that the toilet wasn't flushing, and I kept forgetting to call and get them to fix it. I woke up on Xmas, and the liquid had drained, but the TP was there, and the toilet wasn't empty. I went to try to flush it one more time, and it went from no liquid to almost overflowing. I had to get maintenance to fix it, and they had a hellava time and had to use to snake devices to get whatever was clogged deep in the toilet. Kinda messed up my Xmas morning a bit, but the rest of the room was fantastic. Good tips if you choose to stay. Complementary Valet (I gave a tip). Adult 18+ over pool hours of 9-11pm was peaceful and great to meet other adults. The hotel is amazing at providing you with whatever you forgot, for free. You can call the front desk for dental kit (toothbrush/toothpaste), dental floss, mouthwash, deodorant for both men and women, hairspray, comb, slippers, bottled water, and probably more. The rooms already come with two complementary bottles of water, shampoo, conditioner, body gel, body cream, makeup remover wipes, vanity kit, & bar soap. There are robes, but they are not free, and you will be charged over $100 if you take them home. The robe was great to use for the pool. The slippers can also be great to use in the pool area, so get them before you go. You can also get bottles of water when you get your pool towel in front of the pool. If you want to enjoy a room with a view of the Xmas lights, mine was an even number (834), and I had a great view. The lights and ice skating go until Jan 12th. The Cafe by the reception desk and Journeys has great food. If you go on a holiday, you could wait hours, so get added to the wait list to find out the wait time and then go enjoy the casino. They will text you when your table is ready. I walked the Xmas lights, and there was a decent amount of garbage that people just walked by, so I picked it up. I ended up throwing away 6 coffee cups (1 was fished out of the water), wrappers, and other garbage. Hopefully, that helped others enjoy it more without staring and walking by garbage. Let me tell you what upon to me this morning around 1 am I was in baccarat table I was playing each hand 250$ to 300$ the dealer everyone was nice but the supervisor she harassed me in front so many people and my friend .i drive 40 minutes to play to have fun not to be harassed by supervisor.this is how he start 👉🏻 do u have a player card I told her no do u have id I told her I don’t have to provide u my id she respond me by saying you look above 40 she disrespect me my age in front of a lot off people. If u can’t give me ur id u don’t have to play go home. She call security on me and my friend. She kick me from the table. Let me tell u my experience with other casino I’m black card in river casino,before u enter any casino most of them they ask u to provide id after that no one ask u in table if u don’t give ur id will kick u from the casino wow I never see this kind harassment in my life . at the end I told the manager of the table I explained him what upon he talk to me professionally way he told me welcome any time I told him no more I don’t play the place disrespect me in front of people .please treated people with professional way if u need to provide our id before we enter put security hired them we I will respect that because it’s professional way that is most casino the do.please don’t abused people when they playing in table .please please change if this is one of ur rule because it hurt me a lot until now my first experience in this casino / at the end if I say positive think about this casino the place and the atmosphere is look good if u are smart u can make money 75% in baccarat game I don’t no about other game to honest they have also free Soda beside the restroom by the way I forget to tell u the supervisor of the floor she was white lady please deliver her my massage tell her u don’t need some one to her ur family the way u treat me thank u 🙏 this my experience this morning was my second day have a wonderful day I will never be in this casino no...
