I stopped in at Ram Pub in Marysville for some lunch. I realized that it had been a while since I had steak, so I decided to order the Center Cut 8oz Top Sirloin. I ordered my steak cooked to Medium done and it came out perfectly. The sides were mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. Both of those sides are favorites of mine. I enjoyed the steak, as it was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The broccoli was steamed just long enough to be soft without falling apart when pierced by my fork. However, I did not enjoy the mashed potatoes. The potatoes tasted great, but they were incredibly dense. I prefer my potatoes to be light and fluffy. I had also ordered the Armadillo Eggs appetizer. That was a new one for me, but the description looked intriguing. “Chicken marries with jalapeño, pepper jack, and cream cheese. Rolled in crushed saltine crackers and cooked golden. Served with ranch dressing.” There were 6 “eggs” in my serving and I forced myself to stop after 2 so I could eat my lunch of steak and potatoes! When I finished my lunch I found I still had a little room left and ate one more “egg” with my Irish coffee. The service was awesome. The greeter was pleasant and showed me to a table right away and the server was very accommodating and attentive. This was my second visit and I look forward to visiting again soon.

After reading the bad reviews and seeing this place only had a 2.8 star rating I wasn't convinced this is where my husband and I should go to lunch before we went gambling. However, he convinced me to give it a shot and we decided to go. Our waitress was Sam and we sat in the bar area. It was pretty busy, but not ridiculous. Sam was attentive, without hovering and checking in every two seconds, which I love. Nothing is worse than having the servers at your table too much. Our beer glasses were never empty, and the food came out in a decent amount of time. We ordered the armadillo eggs as an appetizer. Let's face it, deep fry anything and smother it in ranch and it's delicious. The real treat was the burgers. They were cooked perfectly, juicy, and had amazing flavor. I'm pretty sure I inhaled mine, and didn't actually chew it. The beer here isn't really anything memorable, but it was still cold and refreshing. I had a sampler, and I'd have to say the best one was the Washington Blonde or the Pale 71. Overall it's not a five star restaurant, but it's definitely better than the 2.8 rating Google shows. I have a feeling we'll be back next time we decide to go gamble again.

The speed of service was phenomenal the waitress was truly the definition of wonderful customer service. We dined in on a Thursday around 7p.m. They close at 8:00p.m. Monday through Friday. The food was decent the spiral styled macaroni was pretty delicious. The sirloin steak medium rare was melt in your mouth delicious. Not at all hard to chew. The flavor was about a 3.5. I loved the fact that it wasn’t extra chewy. The table was extra clean I could of probably ate off it. The atmosphere was truly social with laughter and chatter in the air. The mood was relaxing and comfortable. Family oriented seeing as most people dining in had children. Ram Restaurant has a children’s menu with a scoop of ice cream included. There are specials before 3:00p.m. so arrive early I believe it’s 11:00-3:00p.m. I seen they have enticing dessert options skillet cookie and a mudslide ice cream dish. They have mouthwatering appetizers for anyone who isn’t in the mood for a big meal. I would definitely bring the whole family here. I believe this establishment has a lot to offer the hungry residents near Quil Seda.

I'll never eat at this Ram location ever again in my life. I have given this Ram location multiple attempts to get it right but every single time it was always a very disappointing experience. I never complained about it....I just took notice and made myself aware of it, but still would come back thinking it would get better. The service is the worst imaginable and the food is terrible. The irony is that there is another Ram location I frequent in Pierce County where I live and their food is always good and it's the same damn menu. The calamari I ordered was terrible!! I even looked at the reviews while sitting with my food in front of me and read all the bad reviews and felt like an idiot for staying at that restaurant, especially the review that mentioned how bad the calamari was there. I didn't eat it!! I ate 1 calamari and spit it in a napkin and set it aside. I was with a group of people and we purposely ordered several different items on the menu to see if there was anything good they made....all of the meals were horrible. When we first arrived there....it took forever to get service when we sat down. Yes it was a typical Friday night at the Ram....very busy in the bar area....I understand that...but to wait 30 minutes for a meet and greet from any kind of service was nonexistent! All they had to do was say....we are slammed...we will get someone to you soon as possible and that would have sufficed. We sat in a booth seat.....these booth seats are the biggest ones in the restaurant that seat a lot of people....there was 4 of us and we still could have had more people sit with us. With that being said we waited 30 minutes for a HOW CAN I HELP YOU. So......food is terrible and service every single time is horrible.......but now the part that really made us all not want to never return......the waitress name is Shelby. Shelby is the worst server we ever experienced in all of our combined lifetime experience we have had as a group with other servers anywhere else in the entire world. We spent most of our time talking about how terrible her attitude was.....we even sat and watched her service other tables thinking that maybe it was just our group.....we noticed she never really had a genuine smile or laugh. She seemed annoyed with customers.....very very rude! We were terrified to ask her for anything because she was so god damn sarcastic!! We would ask other servers for help and even though they were not our assigned server....they would help us but when Shelby came up to us we would just get quiet as a table. We sat on the bar side to have drinks and watch football and after ordering our first round of drinks...when we realized how rude she was we didn't order another drink from that bar. I didn't even finish my first and only drink and I'm a God damn alcoholic!! We just settled with ordering our food. At the end of the night we left a $20 tip for a almost $200 ticket only because one of the people that was in my group is actually our employer and he discussed at length why he was still gonna leave a tip. We normally tip very large amounts of money to our servers at other restaurants but the $20 was a lengthy debate amongst our table because we were gonna leave $1.....but we felt as a table after arguing amongst ourselves that the right thing to do would be to leave a better tip because at the end of the day it was the right thing to do.....but we all agreed we would never return. We decided that Bobs Burgers down the street would be our new spot and we never have eaten there before!😳😳😳I do not want to be referred to email this restaurant to ease the experience.....I want the manager of this store to have a store meeting....read all of the bad reviews and not settle for a 3.5 rating and discuss with the employees better service and the cooks to actually care about the food they make...

Just to be clear, I normally don’t write bad reviews, and understand the restaurant industry having worked in it for the past 3 years. But the overall quality of the restaurant, food, and atmosphere was so overpriced for what they had to offer I will never go back.

Went in with my boyfriend after a long day of tournament golf. Just wanted some good beer and a burger after a day of competing.

The server we get is on her first day and is doing the best she can.

We order Mac and cheese with grilled chicken as a starter and we were honestly very underwhelmed. It tasted as if it came out of a box from your local grocery aisle. It was very overpriced for flavor and quality. The chicken was not cut properly and got stuck in my teeth.

For the main meal, both my boyfriend and I ask for gluten free buns to go with our burgers. He asks for no tomato. Both buns come out burnt and inedible due to the char and taste of burnt charcoal. On top of that, his burger had a tomato in it, luckily he wasn’t allergic, or that could have been a liability issue.

Beers were so-so on top of being out of the beer we wanted to try. We were never given water or even offered any. We had to ask the busser for some at the end of our meal because our server was so frazzled running around.

At the end of the meal when we’re done eating, the server comes by and asks how everything was, and I tell her about the burnt buns and she offers to have the chef make new ones, when were clearly all done and ready to leave. If she had been more attentive and come at the start of the meal, we could have gotten new buns and been able to enjoy our meals. At the end of the meal, a supervisor comes out and is only able to offer a discount of $7.50. For a burger that was “worth” $13 for one, and $26 for two, that didn’t seem to cover the dissatisfaction that we left with.

When waiting for the copy of the final receipt, the server was so rushed she ended up throwing my itemized receipt at me on the table and didn’t even say a word of goodbye or thank you. I understand how busy things can get during a rush of people getting seated, but that doesn’t discount the fact that proper customer service needs to be present, especially at a chain restaurant like The Ram, where it is not cheap. This is not a fast food restaurant, it is a proper sit-down joint that requires a bit of basic manners, especially after ruining our meal.

Never coming back, would not recommend, and this is coming from both my boyfriend and I, who understand the restaurant industry because we...

First off, I'd like to state that I'm uncertain of why they've had so many negative reviews. I understand that not every restaurant is not perfect and there is bad days. But what I personally experienced was the complete opposite on a grandeur scale. We came in and the restaurant wasn't full, but it wasn't empty. We went in on a Sunday. We got sat very promptly. The table they ceded us at was amazing. It was super long and roomy. Most places are very snug and tight, and we struggle fitting 4 of us in comfortably. Our server whose name was Jason, it was very personable and knowledgeable. Since I have been in the service business, I could tell that he was very knowledged in the service industry. Might I note that our family brought a Trouble game which had plenty of room on the table to play. The food was served promptly. To be honest I wish I would have took a picture. But we were so hungry. We just dove in. I had an angus burger, my husband had some kind of a philly melt, and the kids, well, let's just put it this way they ate for only $1.99. I saw that they have a sign that says on certain days they eat for free. We all can appreciate that, especially when it comes to having many kids. Once we had expressed how impressed we were with their food, the atmosphere, the service, (also we ordered drinks that were also equally amazing, including their amazing Irish bloody Mary, it's must try.) Anyways, I let him know that I was really shocked to know that this place had a lot of negative reviews and our family was apprehensive, but we happened to have a gift card that was given to us, so that's why we were there, otherwise, we would have never tried it based on reviews. I'm glad that we were given a gift card.Because it shows that you need to have your own experience. We spoke to the manager Trish and she was equally friendly and gave our family a dessert to try on the house. All I'm saying is sometimes we need to have our own experience, and if we do have a good one, we need to post those as well. I give...
