I'll never eat at this Ram location ever again in my life. I have given this Ram location multiple attempts to get it right but every single time it was always a very disappointing experience. I never complained about it....I just took notice and made myself aware of it, but still would come back thinking it would get better. The service is the worst imaginable and the food is terrible. The irony is that there is another Ram location I frequent in Pierce County where I live and their food is always good and it's the same damn menu. The calamari I ordered was terrible!! I even looked at the reviews while sitting with my food in front of me and read all the bad reviews and felt like an idiot for staying at that restaurant, especially the review that mentioned how bad the calamari was there. I didn't eat it!! I ate 1 calamari and spit it in a napkin and set it aside. I was with a group of people and we purposely ordered several different items on the menu to see if there was anything good they made....all of the meals were horrible. When we first arrived there....it took forever to get service when we sat down. Yes it was a typical Friday night at the Ram....very busy in the bar area....I understand that...but to wait 30 minutes for a meet and greet from any kind of service was nonexistent! All they had to do was say....we are slammed...we will get someone to you soon as possible and that would have sufficed. We sat in a booth seat.....these booth seats are the biggest ones in the restaurant that seat a lot of people....there was 4 of us and we still could have had more people sit with us. With that being said we waited 30 minutes for a HOW CAN I HELP YOU. So......food is terrible and service every single time is horrible.......but now the part that really made us all not want to never return......the waitress name is Shelby. Shelby is the worst server we ever experienced in all of our combined lifetime experience we have had as a group with other servers anywhere else in the entire world. We spent most of our time talking about how terrible her attitude was.....we even sat and watched her service other tables thinking that maybe it was just our group.....we noticed she never really had a genuine smile or laugh. She seemed annoyed with customers.....very very rude! We were terrified to ask her for anything because she was so god damn sarcastic!! We would ask other servers for help and even though they were not our assigned server....they would help us but when Shelby came up to us we would just get quiet as a table. We sat on the bar side to have drinks and watch football and after ordering our first round of drinks...when we realized how rude she was we didn't order another drink from that bar. I didn't even finish my first and only drink and I'm a God damn alcoholic!! We just settled with ordering our food. At the end of the night we left a $20 tip for a almost $200 ticket only because one of the people that was in my group is actually our employer and he discussed at length why he was still gonna leave a tip. We normally tip very large amounts of money to our servers at other restaurants but the $20 was a lengthy debate amongst our table because we were gonna leave $1.....but we felt as a table after arguing amongst ourselves that the right thing to do would be to leave a better tip because at the end of the day it was the right thing to do.....but we all agreed we would never return. We decided that Bobs Burgers down the street would be our new spot and we never have eaten there before!đłđłđłI do not want to be referred to email this restaurant to ease the experience.....I want the manager of this store to have a store meeting....read all of the bad reviews and not settle for a 3.5 rating and discuss with the employees better service and the cooks to actually care about the food they make...
Read moreJust to be clear, I normally donât write bad reviews, and understand the restaurant industry having worked in it for the past 3 years. But the overall quality of the restaurant, food, and atmosphere was so overpriced for what they had to offer I will never go back.
Went in with my boyfriend after a long day of tournament golf. Just wanted some good beer and a burger after a day of competing.
The server we get is on her first day and is doing the best she can.
We order Mac and cheese with grilled chicken as a starter and we were honestly very underwhelmed. It tasted as if it came out of a box from your local grocery aisle. It was very overpriced for flavor and quality. The chicken was not cut properly and got stuck in my teeth.
For the main meal, both my boyfriend and I ask for gluten free buns to go with our burgers. He asks for no tomato. Both buns come out burnt and inedible due to the char and taste of burnt charcoal. On top of that, his burger had a tomato in it, luckily he wasnât allergic, or that could have been a liability issue.
Beers were so-so on top of being out of the beer we wanted to try. We were never given water or even offered any. We had to ask the busser for some at the end of our meal because our server was so frazzled running around.
At the end of the meal when weâre done eating, the server comes by and asks how everything was, and I tell her about the burnt buns and she offers to have the chef make new ones, when were clearly all done and ready to leave. If she had been more attentive and come at the start of the meal, we could have gotten new buns and been able to enjoy our meals. At the end of the meal, a supervisor comes out and is only able to offer a discount of $7.50. For a burger that was âworthâ $13 for one, and $26 for two, that didnât seem to cover the dissatisfaction that we left with.
When waiting for the copy of the final receipt, the server was so rushed she ended up throwing my itemized receipt at me on the table and didnât even say a word of goodbye or thank you. I understand how busy things can get during a rush of people getting seated, but that doesnât discount the fact that proper customer service needs to be present, especially at a chain restaurant like The Ram, where it is not cheap. This is not a fast food restaurant, it is a proper sit-down joint that requires a bit of basic manners, especially after ruining our meal.
Never coming back, would not recommend, and this is coming from both my boyfriend and I, who understand the restaurant industry because we...
Read moreFirst off, I'd like to state that I'm uncertain of why they've had so many negative reviews. I understand that not every restaurant is not perfect and there is bad days. But what I personally experienced was the complete opposite on a grandeur scale. We came in and the restaurant wasn't full, but it wasn't empty. We went in on a Sunday. We got sat very promptly. The table they ceded us at was amazing. It was super long and roomy. Most places are very snug and tight, and we struggle fitting 4 of us in comfortably. Our server whose name was Jason, it was very personable and knowledgeable. Since I have been in the service business, I could tell that he was very knowledged in the service industry. Might I note that our family brought a Trouble game which had plenty of room on the table to play. The food was served promptly. To be honest I wish I would have took a picture. But we were so hungry. We just dove in. I had an angus burger, my husband had some kind of a philly melt, and the kids, well, let's just put it this way they ate for only $1.99. I saw that they have a sign that says on certain days they eat for free. We all can appreciate that, especially when it comes to having many kids. Once we had expressed how impressed we were with their food, the atmosphere, the service, (also we ordered drinks that were also equally amazing, including their amazing Irish bloody Mary, it's must try.) Anyways, I let him know that I was really shocked to know that this place had a lot of negative reviews and our family was apprehensive, but we happened to have a gift card that was given to us, so that's why we were there, otherwise, we would have never tried it based on reviews. I'm glad that we were given a gift card.Because it shows that you need to have your own experience. We spoke to the manager Trish and she was equally friendly and gave our family a dessert to try on the house. All I'm saying is sometimes we need to have our own experience, and if we do have a good one, we need to post those as well. I give...
